Sending Elon to space would be pretty great, but only if he stays there.
I kid. Kind of. Honestly if this means more work for Space X and more competition for exploration and whatever, I’m for it. At least one good thing will come of this.

World's Dumbest Businessman strikes again. "Overpays" for social media company which has struggled to ever turn a profit. Relaxes rules, running off risk averse advertisers to curry favor with the unwashed masses who still believe in quaint old American values such as free speech. Haters be like  Two years later Elon's gamble pays off. Far from an albatross, Elon's ballsy move now has him in the inner circle of the world's most powerful man, once and future POTUS, Donald John Trump. This is what winning looks like. Never doubt this man again. Btw Tesla stock just jumped to its highest price since July 2023. More winning! I honestly believe Elon Musk saved democracy. Everything needs to be open and transparent, there is too much corruption in every system these days.

I honestly believe Elon Musk saved democracy. 100%. As I wrote in the other thread... Last time I genuinely believe Trump winning broke roughly 100 million brains, who in turn did their best to break the internet. And they might have got away with it too if it weren't for that pesky Elon! I shudder to think where we would be without Elon. He provided the broken, the beaten, and the banned with a platform for the first time since 2016 and we won for the first time since 2016. Here's another thing I genuinely believe... back when Elon bought Twitter in October 2022, I wrote something like "if the right is allowed to speak freely, the right will win." Which makes me feel for you Aussies along with our European & Brazilian friends. It sickens me. The EU will inevitably bend the knee (assuming this even goes through). US protection is too valuable, and the good people of Europe will finally get a chance to speak freely without the draconian restrictions imposed upon them by a bunch of censorious Brussels-based Eurocrats. It's win-win. Brilliant, really.

Some on here like to pretend he's a failure, yet the man is changing the world and despite his politics, he is the closest thing to Tony Stark it gets - give him 10 years, and they'll probably be a suit of armour in every city in America.
