Massive bait and switch with Neurolink going on. Now will just be a simple brain controller interface for paralysis victims that will allow movement of a cursor, and thus letter selection, only. Sign-ups opened today.
Musk's version is still an invasive one attached to the brain, whereas non-invasive ones already exist, as do DIY ones. Intendix, a non-invasive system, has been on the market for 14 years. Also eye-trackers have existed forever that do this same task without brain surgery.
While Musk is allowed to do the trials, if all his system adds is risk due to brain surgery, it will not likely receive FDA approval for sale with solutions that do not require surgery already exist.

EU gave Musk a formal warning that Twitter was not in compliance with their disinformation laws due to the high amount of Russia propaganda. This is likely the final warning before fines, which will be in the hundreds of millions if Musk wishes to continuing operating in the EU.
He could qualify for a smaller fine if he were to publicly expose exactly how much Twitter is making as the fine is maxed at 6% of global rev. However, if he does this he risks a margin call and Tesla stock sell off.

Tesla share prices are up 123% YTD.
Failure.
If you took media quality control officer Zucks and pandemic salesman Bill Gates and combined their net worth... Musk would still have more.
Failure. Double failure. Dummy! Yeah!

Most places are rating Tesla stock as overpriced to do supply problems. Finance rags all ran articles recently that the real value of the stock should be $26 a share. At the current price Tesla would be priced as the most valuable company in the world. If you believe that, buy up.

Also meant to add this earlier, Musk also said he is non-culturally Jewish in one of the twitter live spaces.

In a world where anyone on The Left without question can identify as a toothbrush and demand adherence to a newly appointed pronoun, and it's accepted, supported and celebrated - what's exactly wrong with suggesting you have a little bit of cultural spice in your DNA? Or is cultural appropriation only ok if you've read and subscribed to the communist manifesto? Whoopi Goldberg.. Ms.Johnson, has claimed to be Jewish for decades, despite having no Jewish Ancestry, not practicing Judaism and her family coming out and confirming - she's not Jewish, she's just crazy. And further more lacking any understanding of the Jewish experience with silly comments regarding The Holocaust just last year... That, and Musk said the following : " I don’t know if I am genetically Jewish...but I am aspirationally Jewish.” - while speaking with Ben Shapiro. This was in reference to believing he is pro-semitic, the Hebrew roots of his surname, attending a Hebrew preschool, and trips to Israel as a teenager. Which was a response to concerns Twitter/X is full of anti-semitic content ( which it is ) That's not what you quoted c.

What I said means the same thing. He is said he is not culturally Jewish, but Jewish. Which in the context of being accused as promoting anti-semitism to the point of massive EU fines, is a serious problem. And I do not recall putting a direct quote into that post. And as I been saying, almost everything I talk about is source from other places. You guys get all pissy because you disagree with what is in the media, then try to blame me for creating the news. Their ability to make any criticism be labelled as anti semetic is why we have literal apartheid in that state at the moment. Musk called them out for their blackmail tactics and I agree, Shapiro loses me with his pro Israel stance. Anything you can't criticise should he regarded with deep suspicion. It's also wrong to claim that a group of people who collectively hold immense power is somehow oppressed. Individuals may be oppressed but not the nation or the race.

Twitter sued by X Social Media for trademark violations. Pretty solid case here from X Social Media who owns the trademark for X for social media purposes and has been an established multi-million dollar brand for years. Elon's trademark is still pending, as he only filed last month. They are asking for a cease and desist for Twitter using the X brand for the purposes of any social media applications.

I also am interested to see anyone who went against the ADL and wasn't silenced by cancelling. People are so stupid... The Swastika is rightly condemned and causes outrage. People walking around in a Hammer and Sickle shirt is totally fine... I don't get it. Communism has killed more people than Fascism and it isn't even close.

Would love to see examples of all of the anti-semitism that exists and is somehow worse than all the other shitposting that fills the internet. I know for a fact that the ADL claim discrimination and anti-semitism on all criticisms of Israel. Why are they allowed to get away with illegally occupying the west bank since 1967? The Un acknowledges it as a crime and it is not only allowed to continue but supported by the USA who apparently find occupying of sovereign territories in Ukraine completely unacceptable.

Musk is the only major owner of a social media company that refused to take action against antisemitism and personally shares it. That is why he is in trouble and others are not. Everyone else agreed to try to combat it while Musk said it is free speech and shares content about Jews controlling the world.
Second quote shows the difference between talking about Israeli policy and antisemitism.

And he is entitled to do it, provided he removes Twitter access from the EU, where that attitude is not lawful. He had meetings with the EU about this, but still does not remove the site from their market. So he wants it both ways. EU does not care about the US first amendment, his justification, so why should EU change their laws for one man's company?

This is not about my view. EU uses the IHRA definition. I would say that is a very good definition.
I would say though facts can be antisemitic depending on their usage, particularly if used in misleading ways, such as using contextual facts, then dropping the context.

Talks of a possible margin call for Twitter have started. Current value is well below the debt owed and continuing to decline due to non-stop controversies. Estimated value if priced to similar products would have it worth only 8 billion now, which is three times revenue of 2.5 billion they made last year. This would be 5 billion less than the loans owed. If it continues to drop, it is likely a margin call will be made before the banks risk losing more of their investments in a potential bankruptcy case. www.reuters.com/article/us-twitter-yaccarino-breakingviews-idDEKBN3131P0Last month Musk said the site be worth as little as 4 billion now, which would mean banks are out 9 billion if the site moves to bankruptcy. Damage control stopped a margin call after that, but it is now on their minds to check out due to the extremely high risk they have now.

Linda Yaccarino meeting with investors today to discuss Twitter's plans for profits. Decision on whether or not they will margin call or not will be made shortly after. Not likely at this time, but I assume it will be laid out that Twitter cannot keep losing value without the banks doing a margin call, and the banks want to see progress.
Meanwhile Musk's plan is to offer to buy the debt from the banks at for a tiny fraction of the price, or to restructure the debt and offer to repay a fraction or it instead at a far lower interest rate. Musk is going to say that he is doing the banks a favor by doing this after market conditions changed. He will claim the banks made a mistake loaning him money and he can fix it by basically reducing the amount of money he needs to repay so he can continue to actually pay them.
I wish I was making this up, but his PR people are stringing this all out that the banks made a major mistake and Musk is trying to help them out with their bad loans.

I don't think you understand banks, they're not going to want to margin call him while he is servicing the debt, if he did that would realise his losses. His offer to restructure the loans makes sense to the banks. If they loaned to him at 1-2% and the current rate is closer to 7% they would want that loan off their books. If he repaid less of his loan they'd still make the money back with current rates on the market. But yeah, he needs to just shut up and let the site tebud its advertising, that's the way

Musk's team said he wants to refinance for a lower interest rate, and lower balance. Banks would lose in both areas. This is inline with how Twitter has been handling all other costs, then telling people if they have a problem to just sue them, then delay the lawsuits indefinitely, Trump style.
The xDaily post reading it again seems to also imply Musk may force the debt into court, then offer to settle for a cost that is well below what he owes if they do not cut him a deal that sees debt written off, and a new lower interest rate given in a restructuring agreement. For some reason he believe he has a huge edge now that Twitter is making far less cash than when he was loaned money and he has a great deal of leverage over the banks now because of their mistake of loaning him money before an economic downturn.

Replacement for advertising revealed today.
Musk will introduce X Premium Basic, X Premium Standard and X Premium Plus. Standard gives you basic features, Basic half ads on For You timeline, and Plus no ads on For You timeline. Ads on profiles, replies, and other places will still be presented regardless of extra premium tier you pay for.
Believed this will replace the money lost due to running off advertisers.

Musk now claiming his colonization of Mars will start in 3 to 4 years with unmanned ships being sent out. Scientists are actively looking to block this, as there are no realistic plans for how a colony can survive, and they do not want just mars become covered in Musk based space junk. Other claims he wants this colony so he can play God as everyone will be entirely dependant on him since he alone will control the shipments of supplies.
Like with neurolink, I support his fans going to die on mars from radiation poisoning so long as he lets them volunteer and self funds this with his own cash and no US funding.

It is sold as something it is not really. Sat internet will never have steady connection. I do find it funny though that wrestlers will build their dream houses, but then it is a step too far to get them wired to a major network and instead will suffer with shit internet instead. A streamer I follow got a fiber hookup at his house for 20k despite there not being any hookups in his market. Like if you built a house from an empty lot of land, paying for the hookup is not that much more.

This not gonna end well for Musk. This was in response to mocking people that say we should not celebrate Columbus day anymore. I am shocked someone did not demand he take it down.
