Did Punk go tell you to fuck yourself at an indie show 20 years ago, C? Give it a rest chief. The hate must be exhausting.
No surprises but enjoying the comeback and the positivity Punk’s displaying. He seems fired up, in great shape and exuberant about everything. Helps he’s not working with empty headed children.

Telling c to chill out then immediately poking fun by quoting Brawl Out is certainly a choice. I agree he needs to let it go but also that's kind of mean. Can't we all just get along!? This is what CM Punk wants!

This is what CM Punk wants! To quote Baker, It's not worth locking a thread over, but surely these anal-retentive diatribes don't necessarily need to be as frequent. Or at least, articulated in such a way it seems personal.

Bully Ray has an interesting critique of CM Punk's Raw promo. I'm with him here. The crux of Ray’s discontent stemmed from Punk’s repeated reference to WWE as “home.” Bully Ray, unimpressed, denounced Punk’s use of the term, highlighting the dissonance between calling a place ‘home’ and acknowledging past mental and physical struggles within that environment. According to Ray, Punk’s declaration of being ‘home’ lacked authenticity and came across as insincere. wrestlingnews365.com/crock-of-s-bully-rays-scathing-critique-of-cm-punks-wwe-homecoming-promo/

Punk wears his pain all over his face. In short, he looks like shit when he's miserable. In saying that, he's looking good at the moment. And seems happy.
I'd suspect in time he'll speak in length about his time in WWE and where he was personally at before he left, if he remains in good spirits. I think he owes that.
There was a lot contributing to his departure outside of his conflicts with the brass. He was hurt and in pain, sick likely from the stress, and suffering burn out. He likely had a number of undisclosed, and then probably untreated mental health issues as well.

The MSG live event featuring Punk's return match was apparently the highest grossing domestic live event in history.

It may be nothing, but AJ Lee has put up clips of her training with Punk. She's flipping and flopping and doing the typical lucha inspired tilt-a-whirl stuff the girls are into today.
Royal Rumble is just around the corner...

Guess can revive this. Punk reportedly injured his arm on the Future Shock DDT. No word on how bad it is but people claiming it is significant.

Torn Triceps is what I've seen.
Just put Bayley in the main event slot on night 1, let her win, allow both rumble winners to headline the nights.

Saying he goes for surgery tonight. Last time he tore it he was out for 9 months.
I hope they use him on commentary. As much as I do not like Punk, he is a legend on commentary.

What a shame. Punk’s body is betraying him, as no man can outrun Father Time.
I hope he’s got one more good run in him when he comes back.
Time to move onto Drew vs. Seth.

Thinking about it, you know where Punk likely would excel again? The Performance Center. They will constantly feed his ego, and Punk def can help give people some old school polish and learning to cut a promo. Seemed like what he wanted to do in AEW but to people who did not welcome it always. And a few weeks he should be good enough to travel to start coming down and working with the kids, so need for him to just sit home for months and get bitter again.

I think Gunther will be a better replacement I think I’ve written him off because he can’t go to Australia for EC, which is where I assume they’ll lock-in the No. 1 contender.

They had a banger at last year's WrestleMania (alongside Sheamus).

Was chatting about this elsewhere so figured I would post it here. When Hero met Punk, Punk's greatest match at his prime, against his best opponent, in the sketchiest of arenas, back when Punk was called a vanilla midget. Was the final match in a long series.

Just have Damian Priest cash in if we aren’t getting Rollins/Punk.
Sure it sucks for Rollins to miss Wrestlemania but that’s wrestling for you, let one of the newer guys step up to the plate.
