Just have Damian Priest cash in if we aren’t getting Rollins/Punk. Sure it sucks for Rollins to miss Wrestlemania but that’s wrestling for you, let one of the newer guys step up to the plate. Yeah I mean when are they pulling the trigger on this? Probably the next time they're in Puerto Rico, so it doesn't feel like a let down. -- Part of me think Punk isn't seriously hurt, maybe it's something that will heel up over the next few weeks and that Drew is taking The World Championship at Elimination Chamber to set up Punk v Drew at Wrestlemania.

I could definitely see it being a work. I don’t think it is, but it would be brilliantly done if it were. He said he would be back in time for Wrestlemania, and I'd doubt he'd say that if it wawasn'even half true. Plus, he threw some elbows and took a bump directly on his injured wing. I don't know how much these things hurt, but hitting someone with an elbow and putting my entire body weight on it probably isn't something I'd want to do.

I've always liked Punk, although I never watched any of his work in UFC or AEW. I could also understand him being seen as such a huge risk and while it was exciting to see WWE bring him back, I was concerned. That said, he seems to have a whole different mentality now and I think the Rumble and last week on RAW are examples of how big an asset he can be. He opens up so many possibilities.
And that promo after his injury was outstanding.
