Leonard Williams is a masterclass of stealing money for solid at best production. Seahawks gave up a 2nd AND had to pay this man.
Speaking of Seattle, I really want #33 going to NYG just for that Connor Hughes awkward interaction in the locker room.

You need to stop saying dudes are being overpaid and get in touch with today's market. That's almost an identical contract to the one the Giants gave him so it's very reasonable value a few years down the line. Same with Pittman Jr.

Same with Pittman Jr. He's a solid player who shows spurts of great play followed by being invisible, if he was worth keeping he would have stayed with the side that drafted him. That's a fair amount of money for Pittman who got Golladay level money, just hoping he doesn't completely bomb out of the league like he did.

I'll say this though, I would rather overspend and throw money around than act like you're the Baltimore Ravens or Kansas City Chiefs the way Joe Douglas is acting for NYJ. The calculated and refusal to splurge works if you have little to no holes where you can look to the draft or depth signings to better your side but with arguably a bottom 5 O-Line and 1 legit NFL WR on the roster, it's ridiculous this team has done nothing to better the O-Line in any capacity. The assumption was the money NYJ wasn't going to fork to Bryce Huff would mean the money goes to places of dire need but thus far, color me unimpressed. Again.

Wow I'm good, smelt McKinney to the Packers a mile away. Joe Schoen has taken a lot of heat because the Giants still stink but it's very clear that he at least understands the concept of positional value in today's league. It's tough for fans of a bad team seeing a couple of our only good players leave, but letting an RB and safety walk while acquiring an EDGE is exactly what you want your GM to do. He effectively flipped Leonard Williams for Burns which is excellent work. Burns, Dexter Lawrence (who were drafted a spot apart in 2019) and Thibodeaux is a sensational young d-line. I didn’t see the specifics but 3/30 for Runyan seemed like a bit of an overpay for someone who isn’t that good. He’s a better pass blocker but still gets pushed back in the QBs lap and he’s a net negative as a run blocker. Again I didn’t look up the details but I figured he was closer to a 2/12 at best type player.

Bengals release Joe Mixon. Tee Higgins wants out.
Could the Bengals master plan be to trade for Jettas?

I feel like the Bengals need a different type of back than Mixon anyways - he just seemed to slow them down.

How possible is a Higgins plus draft picks for Jettas trade between Cincy and Minny?
I smoked a joint and I’m thinking it’s possible.

Yeah seems like a bit of an overpay (especially coming off a down season?) but when you're coming from bottom of the league level line play just having some mediocre level starters will help. Between him and Elumenor I think we've definitely improved up front.

Of course Joe Douglas gets an ex Raven, happy it's an Olineman. With how bad Laken Tomlinson has been, the bar has been set so low at LG that him, Tippmann and AVT(If he's a RG) is a killer interior. It's the exterior that's the problem
EDIT: Good pass protection but penalty machine, oh boy.

Kinlaw is going to the Jets for a one year deal Blindy Grant Cohn gets to sleep well at night now that his nemesis of training camp is on the other side of the country. Kinlaw+Jetlife turf is a disastah waiting to happen. High level prospect who never found his way, I assume he replaces another high 49er pick bust DT Solomon Thomas? Or Solomon is brought back on the cheap and it's Quinton Jefferson who isn't back(Who had a good year until his season ending injury).

TYROD. He's actually a likable teammate and solid backup QB, I can be fine with this. He can stay in the NY area for a little bit. Got fairshare of injuries on him but he's a good backup if needed. I'm surprised Daboll didn't keep him around, must means he thinks Devito is a legit backup QB to Danny Dimes. Or they're going QB hunting in the draft.

Is Aaron Jones as dead to you UT that Barkley is to Tiki Barber? Member of the purple and gold. Signs with Minnesota. You know who else is a Minnesota Viking? Sam Darnold! 1 year 10 mill, reunited with good guy Josh McCown, still remember that 2018 season like it was yesterday. Good times....

Joe Mixon knows how to stay relevant and joining Houston will keep him as such.
Calling it now. AFC Championship will be Houston at Kansas City.

I like Mixon and he can get the job done without the world’s greatest run blocking in front of him so he’s a fit to hit the ground running right away. I don’t mind that the Texans didn’t get Barkley if the money was big, the running back market is solid this off-season and that includes Mixon. Texans had been worryingly quiet so it’s nice to see them make a move. I suspect a move for a defensive lineman next.

Well Atlanta with the most WTF contract so far.
Mooney for 3/39 and 26 of ur guaranteed. For a receiver who hasn’t hit 500 yards the past two seasons and has three TDs combined. I understand more than anyone that Chicagos passing game was a mess but that’s an absurd contract for him at this stage.

Chiefs sign Irv Smith Jr who is now dead to Jamarr Chase.
Irv had a lot of hype going into Minnesota and was constantly hurt. I thought Burrow would revive his career and that didn’t happen. Not sure what to expect but maybe he lives up to his potential and is the post Kelce future. Welcome to the Kingdom.

Jets about to lose Rodgers to run with RFK. Come on down Tyrod.
I love Rodgers the player. Favorite athlete ever and maybe the best passer I’ve ever seen. As much as I rued the day he left the Packers I am just so happy now that we are over these weird shenanigans from him. At least the worst we had to deal with was Jeopardy hosting full time being on the table.
In other news we resigned Nixon which I’m quite happy about. The most competent return man we’ve had in decades and though he was a rollercoaster as a nickle last year - it was it first year playing that spot and he did flash. A little expensive but I’m okay with it. I imagine it’s more of a 2/11 type deal anyways.

Hunter to the Texans Todd. Fun signing and freak athlete who’s still young. He and Anderson could make an incredible duo the next few years … they need to sure up the middle of the defense though. On every level. Curl and Readwr would help. Then Brown on offense. Texans got to spend on Strouds rookie deal.

Got a reputation as an energetic guy that covers the field and I think Meco had him at the Niners a few years back. Texans certainly need more meat in the middle of the front as you say. I’m guessing they’re considering extending Rankins for a considerable role in that position, and then maybe sign or draft one more.
