I do not understand Jacobs to Green Bay. That shit is weird but their offense might be even more explosive coming into this season so who knows? Plus Aaron Jones is always banged up.

As I said - Dillon had 200+ touches the past two years and as you said … Jones struggles to stay healthy so it makes sense. I expected a Top 100 pick on RB in the draft but this makes some sense too. Our offense was abysmal without a credible running threat and now we have maybe the best tandem in the league. Provided the money makes sense I already like this move.

And the money thing is interesting and kind of like cheap QB deals , we are paying our WR room nothing this year so if we pay 14 million for two running backs it kind of evens out.

It’s so weird being involved in Free Agency. Even weirder signing arguably the top player available at his position!

McKinney gets 25M in Year 1 which is awesome and almost exactly the money created by cutting Bahk and Jones. 3/43 for the remainder isn’t bad at all. Especially when you consider the numbers in his coverage grades compared to where the Packers were.

McKinney forced tight window throws on 30% of targets last year which was #1 in the NFL. The Packers as a whole were at 10% which was bottom three. To say he was a need is an understatement.

Now if we can also land Jordan Fuller (who was #2 on that list behind McKinney) then damn what a revamp. And he’s only projected to cost about 6-7M.



Jacob’s 12/48 looks absurd on paper but only 12.5 in guarantees is what matters. I would imagine it’s closer to a 2/18 type deal.

Brian Burns a member of the Giants fam. Carolina only getting a 2nd and 5th for him after turning the Rams away who were giving a ransom is terrible asset management. They have little of anything of a pass rush now.

Burns and Thibodeau is gonna be a nasty combo.

Joe Schoen has taken a lot of heat because the Giants still stink but it's very clear that he at least understands the concept of positional value in today's league. It's tough for fans of a bad team seeing a couple of our only good players leave, but letting an RB and safety walk while acquiring an EDGE is exactly what you want your GM to do. He effectively flipped Leonard Williams for Burns which is excellent work. Burns, Dexter Lawrence (who were drafted a spot apart in 2019) and Thibodeaux is a sensational young d-line.

So Troy and Joe getting this game week 1 at Jetlife or what?
