I know it's early to put this up, but hey, this is a blockbuster Dynamite.  So it needs the build.

But there's more than just the debut of a big acquisition that makes Big Business a Big event.  The card looks very interesting as well.

I am still not sold she is appearing. Just been teased so much and never happened. 

For me the draw will be the trios match.  And hopefully Britt returning finally.  She been gone way, way too long.

If Britt does return, it might be to confront Mercedes, as the still kinda gatekeeper of AEW.

I assume Britt is coming back to help out Deonna.

I wouldn't even be mad if Mercedes Mone didn't show up after all this hype. Just the reaction after they go to all that trouble and it's Britt Baker would be hilarious.

It won't happen, it'll be Mercedes and we'll all collectively hold our breath until she wrestles her first match. Hopefully they don't let her sing with an open mic.

Mercedes is in Boston, she posted earlier. Guessing she comes out to challenge Willow.

Bayley & Naomi in Boston. Guess this confirms Mone tonight. Wonder if they hide in the crowd or just backstage.

It is cool her friends support her wherever she goes. But here are a few predictions. Whoever faces Mone first will have the best match of their career. Fans will give whoever that is the credit saying they got better not Mone carried them. They mostly will do a them vs us promo and turn the fans against Mone. And Mone debut most likely surpassing both Will and Okada numbers.

Not a big fan of Mone/Banks in general but I didn't care for her introduction. Felt sort of vain with the "I did it you can too!" and for much of the promo it was just talking about her life story. Who cares about what you did? People want to know what you're doing right now or will plan on doing! I almost wish she would have said AEW paid top dollar and that's why she's there and just be a tweener and just be honest.

It's the same reason I didn't care for Punk's promo to open in AEW. "I'm home". What is home. I know in Mone's case, it's Boston but just the idea that she "needed to be here" is lame. She was practically given everything and people bent over backwards to cater to her. Credit to her for earning that in this industry but lets not be ho-hum and doom/gloom.

She kept talking about the "women's evolution" and "I main evented in this very building, a 1st time ever for a female". No you didn't. Sasha Banks did. Not Mercedes Mone. It's such a pet peeve of mine but I am not a fan of them mentioning she's a "5 time world champion". Where? Stardom?

I will give the same energy if WWE uses Jade Cargill's AEW TNT title reign when she's doing mic work.

I started a fan fic years ago called Journey to Greatness and it was about a guy who rises from working bingo halls to the WWE, but I never made it past him getting scouted at a high school gym because I realized I didn't want to write about the 5-10 years that he needs to job for a hot dog and a handshake before paying his way into the Performance Center.

Also that is why I was annoyed at CM Punk showing up in WWE after all these years. His entire shtick was that he didn't belong, that he hated being in WWE and was just there using them for money and fame, and when he joined AEW that was the place he was always meant to be. Then he got mad when younger stars didn't bow down to him and went back to WWE first chance he got. :lol: Whatever. Everyone sells out. I would have done the same thing (minus the fighting my coworkers..)

She would be great to do that, I think she can pull it as a tweener. I would have outright agreed and gave her flowers if she said "Tony Khan wined and dined me and paid me like the god damn CEO, that's why I am here." Stuff like her refusing to be near fans at a meet & greet, I was laughing when she didn't go to hug or embrace a single fan despite this being her hometown. 

I am just tired of the same ol' introduction speech, the "Former employer did me wrong/I am where I need to be THANK YOU GUYS!" is just played out. Most of these fans know you got paid the big money to be here, why pretend otherwise? :lol:

I really hope he gets to keep being his dickhead self. Kazu is a giant geek but plays a heel so fucking well. He hasn't got to show this off in NJPW since like the mid 2010's.

But I really think that if they just let her stay this course of telling everyone how great she is, she will get turned on in no time. Hopefully they are smart enough to know that and make the turn before the fans can.

She got injured in her NJPW Women's Championship match with Willow, and she was supposed to win but called an audible with the referee and let Willow pin her because she knew she was fucked and couldn't finish the match. It would be a genius heel turn to have her attack Willow and blame her for stealing the title and injuring her on purpose. Willow is a natural face, and her and Mercedes had a banger until the injury happened, so they get to have the match they didn't get to have. Then Mone can go on and say how she runs the women's locker room and feud with a mega face Britt when she finally gets cleared.

That's a much better plan than what I thought they were going to do, which is sign her, run her out there to cut "happy to be here" promos and tonight would have been her peak of overness.
