Looks like no matter what I try, I can’t get out of this 2-3 match up vs you in the first round either. That additional 3 day week last week killed me. Went from 6-3-1 to 5-5 with the top seed.

To tie this to the Yankee misery, one of the pitchers that we gave up in the Soto deal was the headliner for Cease(Drew Thorpe) to go from CHW to SD. 

I don't know how much of an effect the PETCO park space is especially in comparison to Yankee stadium but two other pitchers who went in that deal, Randy Vasquez & Michael King are having solid years, particularly the latter who was a big late innings reliever for NYY. 

If Soto does not resign, this could kinda suck. And even I don't think he's worth the near 500 mill he may command to resign.

Went to the Astros/White Sox game last night. Great pitching performance by Crochet. I did not care which team won, but it was fun to see the Astros fans pissed plus I just ate and drank like a fat ass. They have fireworks every Friday. I thought it was really cool that the players (not all but a good amount) came back on the field with their family to watch.

Looks like Verdugo has been suffering from a skin allergy for years. I wonder if it is similar to Marian Hossa's allergy, which caused him to retire.

No, it’s three game series between 3/6 and 4/5 and the top two seeds get a bye.

What you’re describing sounds more like the NBA playin, but maybe the mlb playoffs had looked like that, I’ve been checked out by October for a bit.

Yeah you're right. Thought it was 1 off games between the wildcard games to determine who plays who and 2 vs 3 is locked in.
