Hindsight is 20/20 but I saw Maton's face after he gave up the game tyer to Chourio and after he gave up the following base hit, he needed to be yanked. I know they tried to buy time with the pitching coach to come out to try and get Ottovino in but he should have been warming up regardless once the home run/lead was lost.

Knew that was coming. NYM have a resilient bunch but the Brewers fans have life and belief back now. Will take a great outing by Quintana(?) tomorrow.

Agree with no Diaz for a 6 out save on the road there btw. Maybe 4 outs at most depending on when he's brought in.

Franky nailed it. Could not have Mitchell face Maton. Them doing an interview of the go ahead HR hitter WHILE in the game is abysmal. Interview them if you hold on and win, how did they seriously think about doing that at that point? Holy shit.

Maton had pitched a lot over the previous few days too, hindsight is 20-20 but Mendoza probably should have left Stanek in to go another inning, he was cooking.

But the offence also had the chance to bury the Brewers and they didn't take it. Alonso has been doing nothing for weeks when you'd think he'd be playing for a contract.

Zack Wheeler 2x in a 5 game set is gonna be fun, I forgot that too.

The 5 game sets scare me, especially for NYY when facing a dominant pitching squad like the Royals. More margin of error for a full on 7 game series. 

Lost in the comeback are the starting pitchers were both unhittable. Quintana was brilliant especially with his last start was so-so against the Brewers.

Just saw the announcers, fucking sucks we get Costas for the Yanks series. He is lifeless with his calls, he makes Joe Buck look like John Sterling.

Ron Darling is good though but Bob Costas should stick to his shitty political 1-2 minute sitdowns with the audiences.
