Detroit are like the AL Mets. Skubal did so good and Carpenter nails a 2 out 9th inning 3 run HR to give them the 3-0 lead.

Ehh I've moved on. We won a ring right after he left. I just wish he didn't go to Philly. If he went to any team outside the division I'd still root for him like I root for Soto, Rendon, Scherzer etc.

Seth Lugo has been really good this year while Clarke Schmidt was doing great before injury but I am hopeful he can give you 5 solid innings out there. Think it's going to be a low scoring one, just IDK if the Yanks bats will awaken. Comes down to how bad does Judge want this postseason or not.

Yeah I feel the royals are gonna be my MLB team.

I appreciate that this is a good strategy for a baseball team and reflects incredibly well on the Yankees as an offense… but fuck I hate watching them play. Foul ball after foul ball after foul ball, every at bat being 7 pitches or more. Just chase a little jerks.

I will accept no Yankee complaints on the review call. They won a game this series based off a bad review call, you can’t get all the calls.

I thought it was a fair ball but you're right, the game 1 was won based off a bad call so it's cool.

Ex Royal in OOTP for me, Clarke Schmidt looks really good so far. Guy was really good for me in the Kauffman stadium games Zappy. 

I just wish Judge can figure it out. I know you want to see him succeed and get the monkey off his back. 

Kyle Isbel is a scrub 4th OFer, should not be doing some 2 out RBI hit for an extra base. What a shame.

Michael Massey on the other hand was always solid for me, felt more like a DH than 2B type for me. Good contact hitter. Soto I wish made that dive. 

Isbel’s a fairly good defender out in center which you need in KC, but yeah he’s never been my favorite guy. Massey has had quite a good five game run.

Really good defensive CFer! Love BWJr, Salvy and Maikel Jordan out of your group though. Brady Singer was good too, had a 2nd tenure for me with KC after I traded him. 

(I played KC Royals in this OOTP league for years with Zappy )
