I don't see that it would effect your cards if you pass on the steals. I say we weed out the ones that dropped off, it's a cool format but like I got matched up against UT twice in the first 3 matchups kind of redundant. Also I need the steals to weeze the juice bra

How did you face the same person twice? That's not how round robin is supposed to work?

I'm not sure bubba I beat UT in the first match and again in the 3rd, not fair to somebody like Pduh he's been matched against RT and Baker who are bringing the goods while I'm squashing jobbers without cards

We kind of lucked out even though I fucked up because only half of us have been submitting cards anyway, and we can safely assume that anyone who hasn't submitted a card loses.

Here's what I propose and if you guys have any issues let me know. I think we can get back on track without too much fuckery but if it sounds unfair or you have a better solution I'm all for it. I apologize for this, life just got in the way and I screwed us up.

This one is a bit easier to figure out based off the assumption that people not submitting cards have been losing. Myself and KITN faced each other earlier than we should have, but that doesn't matter because we would have eventually. I'll take the points for the win, and considering KITN would have faced Show & Kid in his remaining matches, he can sit out the rest of the tournament and collect 6 points.

Since I should have faced Kid this round, I'll take 3 points for that win, Jeff gets 3 points for when he would have faced Show next round, and our final match of the block is myself vs Jeff to determine who gets that win.

Again, this is all assuming that the people who handed in cards are continuing to do so and the people who haven't are still not going to. If that changes we can revisit but I think this is how it's going to be from here on out and this should get us back on track relatively quickly. We can assume winners based on who has submitted cards and who hasn't and just skip those matches, get the remaining Round Robin matches over with, and move on to the eliminations/steals.

I'm annoyed with myself that this idea was good but I fucked it up anyway.

Still anyone's game. If I am reading it correctly, only AM has clinched a spot in the semi-finals at this point. He can't finish any lower than 2nd place and he owns the tie-breaker against Shinobi. However all the remaining matches are important and will affect how the semi-finals flesh out.

You were scheduled to face UT who hasn't handed in any cards yet so to save time and get us back on track I just gave you the 3 points and skipped the match.

When I do round robin tournaments on my TEW saves, I use challonge.com. It's a free tournament organizer. It will organize all of the rounds for you, you can set up the points, set up how many are in each heat, and how many advance to the final round. It's a very easy way to do a two stage tournament. Food for thought for next time.

Apologies again for this taking so long to complete. I appreciate everyone for not crawling up my ass for not being on top of this. Aside from a couple hiccups I think this went pretty well, and I learned some lessons for next time. Honestly I might just get someone with more time on their hands to run future drafts and I'll just moderate. We'll see what happens.

I will make my steals from Jeff, Kid and/or Show momentarily as the BVD Block winner and tag KITN so that he can make his steals as the runner-up.

pduh, AM & KITN send me your fresh new cards with your steals when you can and I will post the semi-final match-ups when I have them. The winners of each match will be allowed 4 more steals from any eliminated roster in their respective block. I'm keeping it that way so that we don't have to decide who gets first dibs in the finals. You can only steal from your respective block, including the person you beat in the semis.

Good idea for next time. I'm actually thinking of doing a mini tournament later this year with just our more active people. pi always pitched the idea of a tag team draft and it might be fun to do something like that and have a round robin or best of 7 or something. I dunno, we'll see.


KITN hasn't been online since July 25th and I assume it has something to do with recent political developments..



I'll give them a few days while we get our cards in but I won't be delaying much longer. Wouldn't be opposed to giving someone who finished in 3rd a shot to replace them either. We'll see what happens.

I'm almost done with my card, but I got distracted bitching about AEW and the indies in the DMs lol.

Doesn’t look like KITN is going to join us and I hate giving myself a bye to the finals so if jTjohncenaGOAT or Baker (the only active runners up) want to make steals and throw a card at me let me know.

KITN was mysteriously attacked backstage by a masked man dressed all in denim and reeking of alcohol. He was singing a Tragically Hip song while he did it. Sources say people backstage thought it was RT but couldn’t be sure.

When asked for comment, RT, sweaty, visibly drunk, and removing his denim jacket, replied “could have been anyone.”

The Fan Fic finals will be posted shortly. The PW Gods have no choice but to award RT a spot in the finals, and in the interest of fairness, pduh and 1RealSmartAlex will both advance, and this will be a Triple Threat match for the Fan Fiction Draft Championship.
