Hangman is basically a lock to win the Casino Gauntlet Match. If he doesn’t I’ll be surprised, and if he does I think he has been telling us his intention the whole time and we haven’t been listening.



Hangman wants to take everything from Swerve himself. And he doesn’t care who he had to go through to reach that goal. That includes Bryan Danielson. If Hangman wins the Gauntlet Match, he is going to want to be the one to beat Swerve.

Only thing that really leads to Hangman vs Swerve is Hangman keeping the title on Swerve.

Frankly I would have him even lose the Casino Battle Royale and just keep attacking Swerve until he grants Hangman one final match with a title vs career stip of something.

So I would Okada winning the Battle Royale, then unhinged Hangman attacks Swerve leading to Bryan winning, but not getting the title. Then repeats this during Okada's title match. And vows to keep doing so until he gets Swerve. Not be a bad way either to stretch out the Swerve run, can have him get people to try to protect him from Hangman and shit until they do the big match.

I don’t know if they have the balls to end their biggest show of the year with a dusty finish and Hangman being booed out of the building. Even if it makes the most sense I just don’t see them pulling the trigger.

If Danielson doesn’t leave with the title a riot might break out.

Avoiding spoilers on Sunday is going to be so fucking hard.

That's the thing though, he said if he loses he'll never wrestle again. Not "I'll leave for 8 months then probably come back at Forbidden Door for a dream match"

Hangman takes him out before he hits Swerve he will win via DQ though. Smart Mark Sterling clearly consulted with him before he said that.

And it is wrestling, keyfabe retirements mean nothing.  And hell, even medical retirements seem to mean little these days.

c you know any good sites that will have the show uploaded? The usual streaming sites seem to get them pulled down quicker and quicker these days.

Daily Motion is what I use for wrestling events if I miss them live. The videos do not last long, but people keep re-uploading them. Generally search for AEW, filter by over , then sort by new.  If nothing comes up, adjust the length filter until you find it in parts.
