Preds/Jets hasn't disappointed. Great action, and equally great dramatics. The Preds scored three in the 1st, and Winnipeg just answered back with three of their own in the 2nd.

This is not the Pekka Rinne I'm familiar with, looking behind after most shots, reacting to snow showers. He looks rattled. 2 goals in around 10 seconds will do that to you I guess.

Excellent period by the Jets. The third will be a crapshoot.

I'm glad the Jets bounced back, and beat the Predators tonight, after Sunday's disappointing lose (great game though).

Also well this isn't an AHL thread (and most you guys won't care), I do like the idea of the Jets winning the Stanley Cup, and the Moose winning the Calder Cup in the same year.

Has it ever happened that an NHL team, and its AHL affiliate won the Stanley Cup and the Calder Cup in the same year?

Way to go Jets! Back to the Whiteout, with a chance to clinch the series.

If Jets can keep their young core mostly intact, then there is a chance of a dynasty.

What an amazing story.  Vegas has done it again. This is the kind of thing you're more likely to see in a EA Sports video game, not the NHL.

The Golden Knights have proven there's nothing as exciting and unpredictable than the Stanley Cup playoffs.

In my gut Tampa beats Vegas. Hoping for Jets/Lightning though.

Glad to see some Jets support.

My heart can't take it. Although, if the Jets advance, I have tickets to game 1 of the Western Conference finals, and then the third home game after that (if it happens). I'm just going cray thinking I may get to see a Stanley Cup Finals game in person!

Or worst case scenario, I have the first home game of the playoffs next year...

I wouldn't mind seeing any permutation of conference final or Stanley Cup final match-ups but I really wanna see either Lighting vs Golden Knights or Lighting vs Jets.

What kind of package did you win/buy?

I've got a 1/4 share of season tickets with a group of friends. Some guys have an 1/8 share. We ended up drawing orders for playoffs when we signed the contract. 

I like both the Jets And Preds. Their fan bases are 1000 % behind their team. I gotta lean towards the Jets though. Awesome young core with Big Buff on the point. I mean the Jets are my NHL 17 online mode team. How can I go against them?

Either way one of those above teams will beat Vegas and go to the Finals against Tampa.

People still underestimating Vegas. The Jets do look great tonight but Vegas just has the aura about them. Fleury has had horseshoes up his ass the entire playoffs as well. 

Since this game seems under wraps here are my predictions.

But at the same time, I feel bad for Rinne. Who knows how different the game would've went had he not allowed those two goals.

5 - 1 win for the Winnipeg Jets.

Happy to see the Jets move on to the Western conference finals... a shame the Golden Knights Cinderella story has to come to an end.

The Jets have been kinda floundering since the rebirth. This year things clicked for them. I'm looking forward to the conference finals.

It would be a real shame if Washington lost after finally getting over that Pittsburgh hump. No reason they shouldn’t come out with the same intensity in this series. They just can’t act like beating the Penguins was their Stanley Cup. I still think that Washington wins this series in 7.

The Jets are going to end this Cinderella story in the year of the underdogs. I thought Nashville was a lock to go all the way, so I must stay with the team that beat them. I’ll go with Jets in 5.

MTS Centre was so loud last night! Voice was gone rather quickly, considering how fast the Jets scored 3 goals.

Still hate the Knights for blocking the Brassard trade to the Jets because they were "afraid" of facing the Jets in the WCF. Well damn rights you should be afraid!

Looks like this may be Ovechkin's year for making it to the Cup Final. The Caps are up 2-0, heading back home to the Red Sea.

I don’t have a horse in this race but I wouldn’t be opposed to Ovi finally getting a Cup. Hopefully they make it and don’t let Tampa claw back into this.
