Yes, fantastic for both. I bet the Lower Decks voice actors had a ton of fun filming that episode. Especially Tawny Newsome.

Not sure if anyone else has checked this out but The Brother Sun on Netflix is highly enjoyable especially if you don't mind some violence and fun martial arts fight scenes. Plus it has Michelle Yeoh who is always amazing.

Started Shameless and man this is so delightfully trashy. Bit distracting as I can't figure out where I know I know the boyfriend from. Don't wanna look it up because that might ruin some things for me.

@admin I'm fully in to LIB Season 6. What about you and the Wife?

It is one of four dating shows we are watching concurrently. :lol:

We're up to about episode 5 I think. Jimmy definitely seems to be the star this time (although we are both a bit bemused at how such an average guy managed to be the centre of attention) I can't wait until Jessica comes back and he sees how much hotter she is than Chelsea. Her "you'll choke and need your epipen" line was iconic.

My mom and I thought the same thing. I'm like 'he ain't shit but expecting Megan Fox.' :lol: That has happened to me a few times on dating sites. I message an average guy and he tells me I'm not hot enough. Dude, you're over there expecting Heidi Klum and looking like Newman from Seinfeld. STFU.

I'm a few ahead of you so I don't want to spoil anything, but I've been truly surprised by some things and not at all shocked by others. People gotta work on their insecurities though. That's a quick way to heartache.

Started Halo since season 2 just dropped and I haven’t watched it yet. Pretty good first episode. Knowing nothing about the game I am probably going to like it more than most. I just assume gamers hate everything.

Was a really fun pilot. I am definitely watching more. Mrs RT liked it too.

Not even including the intro, there's a lot of random ass in Shameless.

So bummed From, Stranger Things, Sandman and Yellowjackets are not expecting new seasons until 2025. The stuff I want to see the most will take forever to come. For the first time in years like running out of shit to watch. May do Twin Peaks again.

Whoo Survivor is back. Interesting crew this time. While no larger than life personalities, also does not appear to be many goats.

Soda is hilarious and who I am rooting for. I imagine they try to get her out fast.

Amazing savvy challenge this time. So simple, but so effective. Sweat challenge was total BS.

Cool advantage challenge with picking who is telling the truth and who is lying.

The only remotely good thing, was Marsters Piccallo, could have nailed it if the writing wasn’t dogshit.

Fiona was also in the movie, as Rossum played Bulma.

Don’t ever risk it though, it’s not even so bad it’s good.

I am 1.5 episodes in... I think it is pretty good, I just don't have the stamina at the moment for a show that doesn't grip me completely.
My Netflix at the moment is a graveyard of shows I have started then abandoned.
I want to keep going on Shogun, but I don't know if I will... It might be a binge watch on a plane type of show.

90% of it is in Japanese. Obviously requiring reading.

Because I'm easily distracted by devices and ranting and raving about nonsense, I've missed a few key lines and had to rewind.

It's still building. And having not seen the original nor read the book, I sense a slow build towards chaos.

Slowly making my way through the Avatar: The Last Airbender live action.

So far... don't hate it? From some of the other reviews I'm seeing, and that I actually sorta liked the Cowboy Bebop live action whereas everyone else hated it, maybe my standards are just way lower.

But I am getting to the point where, like most other adaptations, IMO if it's just reenacting the original plot point by plot point then why does it even exist? At least ep 1 filled out some otherwise-unseen backstory but bring something new to the table, plz

It was okay, my main problem is Aang didn’t really learn waterbending at all, the core journey is supposed to be him mastering the elements. The format just loses so much important development.

Also, disappointed a bit in Iroh, perfectly cast, but they lost his jovial charm.

Just got done with the latest season of Fargo. Enjoyed it more than the last, but similar to the last couple of seasons, I came away thinking it could really benefit from a 6-8 episode run rather than 10. First four episodes were classic Fargo.

Joy of joys, AMC has picked up the rights to all FOUR seasons of Snowpiercer, so looks like I’ll have a month of AMC+ in early 2025.

I cannot believe we get season 4. I forgot the season was shot but never aired.

Rewatched Queen's Gambit. Still holds up so well after the hype died. Wish people would explore more one and done adaptations in series form. Just the perfect format to take whatever time you need to tell a good story.

Watching 3 Body Problem. One of the best sci-fi stories in a long, long time. Takes influence from all the great writers
in sci-fi and creates something new with it.

After this season two more books in the trilogy that I assume get seasons.

For Gen V fans, Chance Perdomo, who played Andre, just died in a motorcycle accident.

Thought the Curb finale was great. Chemistry between Jerry and Larry was awesome, and a great callback to Seinfeld. Decent season, which probably showed why it was right to wrap it up, but a thoroughly enjoyable finale.

Just watched the latest episode of X-Men '97. This seriously was the best episode of either the classic or new run and one of the best episodes of any animated series that I've seen. That ending even made me a little emotional. We are only half way through the season and each episode keeps topping the previous one, an outstanding continuation of the classic 90's series.
