That's a brutal run System. I can't imagine living inland where you don't get the cool change off the sea. Not much is better than when the southerly wind hits and the temperature drops about 15 degrees instantly.

Loud board shorts with no shirt

Australian flag must be tied around your neck as a cape.

Wear cheap rubber thongs, preferably green and gold.

Be sunburned and wearing no hat.

Sunglasses on and be pissed well before you get to the beach (being drunk since sometime yesterday is preferred).

Park across at least two car spaces (or on a locals nature strip)

Spend a strange amount of time around your car for no apparent reason while you play your shitty music at obnoxious volumes.

Punch at least one immigrant.

They say records are made to be broken, that's what we did in Adelaide today. 47 degrees in the main parts of the city and apparently Port Augusta cracked 49.

Today is the big one apparently, it's 11am and 36 here already. Melbourne is about to have it's hottest day in a decade, and I'm just under 2 hours drive north of the city, so add 5 degree to that figure.

Yesterday I received emails at work saying the state was in 'critical mass' and for us to move into basically an energy efficient mode regarding lighting, power-use.

Yes sir you are correct, although (the beach) will be busy. Bring the ice chest, drink some beer, listen to AC/DC, and eat a meat pie or some BBQ, have a fight with a refugee in the afternoon when I'm drunk and then visit the family. 🎓

Well we are on the cusp of record breaking lows in this area , the governor of Wisconsin issued of State of Emergency for cold weather and cautioned people not to be outside for any more than 4 minutes and travel is strongly being advised against. It's supposed to be -50 degrees(F) by suppertime.

So all in all , wonderful weather.

Next two days are gonna be -20 due to wind. Not as bad as the past few posts but I doubt there's much of a difference.

Meanwhile I had two pedestal fans pointed at me and the ceiling fan going earlier and I was still sweating like Shane McMahon 30 seconds into a match.


Not all bad though, went to the beach the other day because it was 43 degrees (109.4*) where I live so I definitely wasn’t going to sit at home all day.

The tide picked right up later in the day and was some decent waves to swim through for a change.

Despite putting sunscreen on 3 times I still got sunburnt though, my pale AF skin isn’t made for this climate 😂🤦🏻‍♀️.

Freezing rain right now turning to snow later. We’re expected to get around 4 inches.

Here in northern bc we are having a very warm winter. Usually get at least 30 days of -20 c weather in the winter and average of -10 c, this year were hanging around 0 to-5 c all winter. So warm

I consider it still suitable running weather outside down to -15 C, once it gets below that it's too cold.

It rained yesterday, for 15 minutes it rained. But at least it rained.

I've had my monster shed build on hold for weeks due to the extreme heat, finally, it begins construction tomorrow.
