They'll definitely be hoping it clears up for the start of next week. There's six courts they can close the roof on but it will ruin the schedule if it's bad at the beginning of the tournament. No one should be playing in conditions like this, I can barely go outside for a minute without coughing. There's a storm coming this afternoon which should make things a bit better.

Good chance that today between the storms and the smoke we have a spike in asthma deaths. Which is terrible, but the roads are getting too crowded anyway. I'm cranky as I have been working in the "fully sick" suburb of Broadmeadows for the past two weeks in a factory with no ventilation.

39°F here. We're currently transitioning between post-fall and pre-winter, which is the Ohio way of saying "I don't know whether I should wear a hoodie, shorts or both".
Not looking forward to non-kayfabe winter whenever it finally arrives.
Edit: Too damn cold for shorts. Definitely not Midwestern enough for that shit. Jacket and jeans it is.

It's been about 10 degrees F warmer than usual for this time of year here in Maryland. I'll take it.

Hit up sports drinks. Will help with the dehydration. When I was wasting the doctors made me go in every three days for IVs to prevent from getting that dehydrated.

Amazing weather today, feels like summer and it’s only first month of spring. The temptation to drive to the beach is astounding.

NSW coming out of lockdown for “freedom day” only to be met with severe thunderstorms and a tornado causing most people to want to stay at home is so poetic.
Also you know how I said my work spent 10 MILLION DOLLARS on renovations? They still haven’t fixed the leaking roof in the outdoor gaming area so it’s absolutely flooded yet again. 🤦🏻♀️

It's been 14 degrees for like a week here with a bunch of hailstorms - it's the middle of November ffs! So annoying that you can tell we're not going to get a decent Spring and probably launch straight into a hot Summer.

Perfect time to bump this thread. Well done gang.
It’s been raining non stop in BC for over a week now and it’s led to mudslides around the lower mainland. It’s so bad that all the highways between the lower mainland (Vancouver and area) and interior (where I live) are closed. There is no way to get from the Vancouver area to the rest of BC or Canada by land. Unless you cross into the USA and go through Washington, but then there’s an automatic rapid COVID test and possible quarantine that comes with that.
So yeah..not good. The major highway is also like..gone in one area. Like there’s no road anymore. And the only other highway that comes this way is much smaller and can’t really handle the traffic (and closed today anyway).

Anyone see the weather for Cario? Rainstorm hit, sending scorpions running for cover. Three dead, hundreds stung.

Our kids get hot lunch at school every Tues and Thurs and because of the closure the provider didn’t get their shipment over the weekend so they had to cancel this week. I was like “aw that sucks we have to make lunches all week now” but then saw the pictures of the road gone and was filled with dread. It’s going to disrupt everything for weeks, possibly months. brb stocking up on toilet paper again

Last year was the worst summer I can remember, never got proper hot just threatened a little. My wife is at home and over the weather, we have our kitchen and half our lower storey windows being replaced this weekend. Me being an absentee husband and father am not there to shoulder the load... The rain makes everything more annoying with moving stuff and tradesmen in the house.
