They closed the kids schools for three straight days , BARS were closing down in Wisconsin , which I've never seen in my life.

It was -5C today, and that's as cold as it's going to get here. I heard on the radio that it was -11C in northern Scotland, and that's as cold as it's going to get in the UK.

It rained yesterday, for 15 minutes it rained. But at least it rained. I've had my monster shed build on hold for weeks due to the extreme heat, finally, it begins construction tomorrow. That sounds cool, what are you doing with a monster shed?

It's just a 6.5x6m, and 3m tall. I should down play it.
I'll buy either a classic or tuner car. I've had the opportunity to buy a few things, I've had the space, but never the right storage for abother car.
That, and I'm sick of watering a lawn, that doesn't want to grow in summer. Yet grows 3" a day in winter.

45 yesterday, now down to 25 in the space of a day. I went from 42 in Melbourne to 8 in Shanghai. I was wearing short sleeves, just felt like the aircon was cranked.

Its -5 right now, and we didn't get our first snow until mid December. It should be -15 and snow used to come in October. Mid Jan to late Feb is the only time of the year that's constant -20 now it seems. But climate change ain't real...

47 degrees (116.6 f) where I am, can’t imagine trying to fight fires in this heat..my hat goes off to them. I can't even imagine standing outside in anything other than shorts and a t-shirt in that heat never mind all of their protective gear...and then actually fighting fires. Absolute heroes.

35° here in Ohio. Last week it was 65° and sunny. A couple days later, 35° again with on-again-off-again rainfall. Next week I heard it's going to be 65° again.
Musical temperatures, every damn year in all four seasons. That being said, I'll certainly take that over 116° heat, off is definitely where that can go fuck. 👍

It's around -30 degrees Earth Units (the unit the majority of the human population uses). I get that the weather is a general topic of discussion when exchanging niceties with my fellow humans, but sometimes it feels so silly. Like oh wow, it's winter and it's the expected amount of cold again. I wish we could just stick to positive statements about the weather when exchanging the niceties, like sure is a pretty blue sky today or shit like that.
