Why would you give the Chiefs a chance to win the game with one first down? Some crazy decision-making from coaches today. Mind boggling in a game in which the defense has only stopped the opposing team 4 times.

How bad has the kicking been so far this season? Someone must have a stat on that, it's been awful.

Jags are already up 14 on the Pats. Brady does not handle hot weather well.

My Matthews jersey is officially in the garbage. What did he do this time? Another Roughing the Passer. Not as egregious but an obvious penalty that’s going to be called. This time Alexander intercepted the ball that would have ended it, but obviously it didn’t.

He within one step, and it was a completely clean hit. No helmet to helmet contact and Clay even let up a little. Even though I do find it ironic that the Aaron Rodgers rule worked against the Packers this time.

Really enjoyed seeing the Raiders lose at the end there. Thought the Broncos might have blown it with DT's drop but we finally had a kicker get the job done.
Can't wait to see Saquon run all over the Cowboys tonight.

The same exact thing was called against the Vikings earlier and these players KNOW that’s going to be called. It’s been pounded in there head for how long now? I didn’t see him let up much at all. He could have laid off and that’s going to get called every time. I’ve just had it with him making the wrong play every time and ten folding that in crunch time.

I normally lean against the "they're ruining the game!" crowd but I have to agree on this one. There's absolutely no way that should have been a penalty.

By the way they described the rule , have called the rule and explained to everyone the rule - it’s going to be called for better or worse. It was called earlier in the game as well. Clay just is terrible as a situational player. He has no discipline on any play , misses sacks constantly because he runs right by the quarterback. He also bites so hard on the roll out and allowed at least 60 wide open yards to Rudolph because he’s a moron. His lack of discipline was also a HUGE reason Kaepernick lit us up years ago , just as evidence it’s been a long suffering problem. I’m done , he’s the highest paid player on this defense and actively sabotages it - and he’s not making any plays to make up for it.

The Rams have a legitimate claim as the best team in Football. I know the Cards are terrible, but damn.

And for the record , the whole Packer game was terribly officiated on both sides. Worst I’ve seen in quite awhile.

Well it's definitely worse in this case - but I have an issue with the wording of the rule as well. Tony Corrente said that the reason it was called a penalty was "when he hit the quarterback he lifted him and drove him into the ground" - neither of which were true at all. Not disagreeing that in general Matthews lacks discipline/intelligence though.

How wild is it that the Bucs are 2-0 by beating the Saints and the Eagles. Fitzmagic about to keep Winston’s job, too.
Even wilder is Vontae Davis walking out on the Bills at halftime and retiring. Craziness and disrespect. That’s how bad the Bills are.

I don’t see it. Same shit for Fitz paid by the Jets. A great season where they lost the final game of the season to miss the playoffs to Sexy Rexy. The Bucs need to move on from Winston anyways.

Barkley is sensational isn't he? Four touches and he made the first guy miss every time.
Come on Shurmur - go for it on fourth and inches on the halfway line.

I know we're trying to protect our o-line but that's three drives without a throw more than about 5 yards downfield now.

They aren't just missing blocks or getting beaten, they are literally not even picking up rushers now. Just awful.

The Cowboys D is very underrated this year. They kept Carolina to 16 points last week and this week Big Blues at 3. OBJ has been taken out of the game, too. Eli has zero time to make any throws. It’s ridiculous how bad that O-Line continues to be.

About the only positive thing you can say for that game is that it was over in three hours, and we got a new Eli face meme out of it.

🤯 BP - Vikings, because life isn't thrilling/depressing enough. Pleasantly surprised with that last quarter from the Vikings. Just thought it was the Packers day, they were doing everything better than Minnesota and thought they'd establish too big a lead for our offence to take down. In the end, Cousins proved he could be the man at Minnesota and produced one of the better QB performances for the franchise in the past few years. Stats will suggest otherwise, but I don't think players like Bradford or Keenum produced more while under pressure. In the end, the Vikings should have won this game and it was specials teams that squandered it. Packers did as well as you'd expect from a team with their star player hobbling on one leg. I've seen a lot of pessimism surrounding their squad, probably because they didn't perform after Week 6, but if there's one constant in sport you can't count out the influence champion players have. For mine, they're still the team to beat in the North and the Vikings will have to show more than what they did at Lambeau if they want to take that crown. Certainly a dramatic game of football, it's a shame the officials had to make themselves apart of the headline. Again, I didn't think the tackle on Rodgers was a bad call by the letter of the law, but it set a dangerous precedent and that ultimately ended up working in the Vikings favour. I don't like the interpretation at all, it lacks common sense and prevents the defence from shutting down the play.

HOW THE FUCK HAS THE LINE GOT WORSE They aren't just missing blocks or getting beaten, they are literally not even picking up rushers now. Just awful. There is no communication in that O-line at all. Just about every sack was a missed switch on a stunt, this is shit that should have been worked out in training camp and pre-season. Not a good look for the line and ESPECIALLY not a good look for the offensive line coach. Oh and as much as I love watching Barkley run and catch, he's the drizzling shits when it comes to picking up blitzes. He really needs to work on that.
