It’s the NFL playoffs!

It’s football in Texas day!

We get this bad boy started in a few hours with an AFC South Showdown! The Colts travel to Houston to face the Texans. Luck. Watson. TY. Nuk. This is going to be fun. If Houston wins, they travel to New England next week. If Indianapolis wins, they travel to Kansas City next week. I’m taking Houston to win 27-17.

The main event is tonight as the Seahawks travel to Dallas to face the Cowboys. Russ vs Dak. We get to see Zeke be a freak as he and Dak return to the playoffs. How will Amari shine? Will the Boom Squad Version 2.0 keep it low scoring enough where Russ can out class Dak? Possibly. If the Seahawks lose, they’ll get credit for making it this far. If the Cowboys lose, it’ll be another pitiful ending to their season. Give me the Cowboys in a tight one, 19-14.

Thinking about it for the last week , since I have no horse in the race - here's the Power Rankings of who I want to win....

I would love to see Watt get a ring and he doesn't have as many chances left - and the AFC is fairly open IMO so this might be his best shot. Kansas City is a team I often root for as well due to some childhood memories but they are going to be there for years to come with Mahomes in the picture.

The Chargers would be cool too , they've never one. Though the 100 pieces to come out about underrated Rivers might turn me against them should they make it that far.

4-5-6 are pretty interchangeable , New Orleans is only ranked last due to the Packers owning their draft pick. I wouldn't hate Brees getting another ring though.

The Patriots and Eagles were just there , so I knocked them down a bit. I don't hate either team though.

I still resent the Ravens for their last Super Bowl run , that was some of my least favorite playoff football ever. And Lamar Jackson is bound to get overrated - he's already well on the way.

Fuck the Cowboys in general. I'll never like or root for that team , but their defense can be fun to watch.


Bigger fuck off to the Seahawks who I've just had enough of at this point , the only reason I rate them over the Bears is because of the rivalry and Russell Wilson but I'm really getting sick of watching them and the officiating of their games. They get more calls than any team in the NFL and never get anything called against them - it's a complete double standard officiating when the Seahawks play.

The Bears are a long time rival , I have Bears fans in my inlaw family that are obnoxious and they are only behind the Vikings as me least favorite team in the NFL. So I really don't want them to win. I would prefer they go one and done - but I think they can make it to the 2nd round at least before getting wiped out by the Saints or Rams.

Random question, but if the Rams make it to the Super Bowl, and the Chargers make it to the Super Bowl, does anyone in Los Angeles really care?😂

I've been a nervous wreck all week. Had a little job I had to get done today, I thought it would take until 2 to finish but worked so hard to get it done we was out of there by 11:30, shit has gotten fucking real in my household. Fam is on the way going to throw the ball around with the kids before the game starts. I'm watching Clemson vs Alabama 2017 to calm my nerves. Here we go man.

If this game gets out of hand for Houston I can see O Brien let go. New ownership head with McNair gone and as you saw with Titans and Murlarkey, his demise came up even after beating Reids Chiefs.

I don’t ever like going 3&out after the other teams drives the ball right down the field to open the game.

Good thing voters didn’t see the Jets game or Nelson wouldn’t have been voted All Pro as a rookie. The kid is already a top three guard in the league.

Forced throw on fourth down. Better chance to scramble and try and get it by feet if you are gonna choreograph that throw.
