Yeah I wasn’t impressed with him either but I’m unsure if it was his fault or not. Seems like the Chargers followed the game plan offensively and the defence won the game. 22/32, 160yds, no INTs. Pretty average game.

Their red zone offence is the worrying part. They only got 1 TD on 4 or 5 trips to the red zone, and it was a 4th down TD after almost giving the ball away. That’s not all on Rivers, but it mostly is.

I’m guessing the commentary all week is going to be “the struggling Pats,” vs the Chargers defence that looked so good today, but this is New England we’re talking about. If the Chargers play like they did today they’ll get stomped by Tom Brady after he straps the team on his back.

That was such a dumb penalty by Michael Bennett. They were going to get off the field without giving up any points following Foles' interception and now Chicago will get on the board at the very least.
