How did Allen Robinson get that opening, even with safety help there.

That's so cruel. Bears kickers haven't been the same since they go of solid Gould. Gould doesn't have power but he makes those big time kicks.

Parkey should be a hockey player. Hitting all those goalposts.

I can’t believe how fast the NFL or FOX or whoever got all those post hitting missed kicks by Parker. That was quicker then *imsert pun here*
I’m still in shock. I was really looking forward to Chicago and the Rams Part 2.
Now we get Philly/NO in what should’ve been last seasons NFC Championship game. We also get Dallas facing the Rams in what should be a good game as well.
Wild finish to this weeks postseason and Parker seemed totally okay with it. He had that “well shit happens and I still believe in Jesus” attitude.

In all seriousness , the Bears should have solved their kicking issues in the season. It’s on Pace and Nagy as much as anyone.

I guess there are contract issues to take into consideration but I really have no idea why teams stick with kickers as long as they do in certain situations. Given that so much of it is about confidence - once a guy is rattled like Boswell and Parkey were this season you're only going to get bit in the ass by sticking with them.

Really enjoyed that game. Man Nagy looked like he was bout to cry. I’m still in shock. I was really looking forward to Chicago and the Rams Part 2. Now we get Philly/NO in what should’ve been last seasons NFC Championship game. We also get Dallas facing the Rams in what should be a good game as well. 2001 all over again. I didn't really care who won this time but back in 2001 I really wanted to see Chicago vs Rams and Eagles denied us with an upset at Soldier Field. Also a little playoff history with Cowboys vs LA Rams in the coliseum, going to be a good divisional round next weekend.

Sad part is Robbie Gould who the Bears cut had his family up watching this game at Soldier Field still supporting the Bears and got to see this choke first hand. That is just crazy.

The Bears were legit. So legit that I actually had them as 1B to the Saints 1A of making the Super Bowl. That loss is super disappointing.
If we get Rams/Eagles and Patriots/Chiefs in the Conference finals, I’m going to be filled with yuck.

Seeing a kicker miss a field goal to win a postseason game gives me PTSD.
Can’t believe that. Poor guy. Fuck.

Seeing a kicker miss a field goal to win a postseason game gives me PTSD. Can’t believe that. Poor guy. Fuck. Brings back Memories of two Doug Brien misses vs Pittsburgh in the 04 divisional games that would have sent Jets to face the Pats. I think it's natural for all fan bases to have bad memories over a missed kick regardless of team. Well besides Pats fans of course, going from Vinatieri to Gostowski lucky bastards they are due for a heartbreaking FG....

A miss is still a miss, but I (and the broadcast) completely overlooked the fact that the kick was actually tipped. Changes the narrative to a certain extent.

Even more crushing seeing it look like it was going to careen in regardless, and then have it bounce back out the other direction. Must feel like a real piece of shit right now.

A miss is still a miss, but I (and the broadcast) completely overlooked the fact that the kick was actually tipped. Changes the narrative to a certain extent. To a huge extent. The kick almost made it regardless. Parkey is a questionable kicker but they lost the game because Treyvon Hester made a play on special teams. Hopefully Parkey gets plenty of support. It sucks enough for kickers when they're responsible, let alone when they're not.

It is uncanny how many time Parkey has hit the crossbar during his tenure though.
