I'm shocked Blindy didn't go in on Brian Schottenheimer. He called in an absolutely awful game, running in the gut of the Dallas defense repeatedly.

Yeah it was weird that Seattle insisted on running inside all the time when they were having so much success catching passes. You have to be able to adjust but they didn't want to move away from their identity and it cost them.
Really enjoyable game of football. Feels like the play-offs are here.

He will run a guy who is having a strong year till he can do it no more. Saw it done with Thomas Jones, Brad Smith in that vintage wildcat, Shonn Greene. Guy has an issue adjusting. If you told me that Prevent D Bob Sutton AND Too Cute Schotty would still be in the Nfl a decade later after the Jets 2008 debacle and in the playoffs no less I would have told you to quit the drugs asap. They both are Achilles heels for their teams now.

It's still crazy that Schotty's name still comes up for head coaching vacancies even this year and people talk about how respected he is. I'll never get it.

It's still crazy that Schotty's name still comes up for head coaching vacancies even this year and people talk about how respected he is. I'll never get it. I guess it's because of the last name and all because he hasn't changed one bit. Add some less than eventful tours in both Georgia and Florida where the universities trashed him and I don't get how the Colts thought it'd be good he should be their QB coach. What the hell was he going to teach Andrew Luck to do? Forget everything Bruce Arians taught you, I am the motherfucking shit and got to back to back AFC title games. He got credit for Brissett having a nice year where Brisset's natural athletic ability made that team compete last year but how does that earn him a promotion in Seattle by Carroll? He's a trash coordinator no matter pros or college. But he's Marty's son so he will have a job until 2030 within the circles. He's a textbook reason why it's important to have a new mind take over for the Jets.

So disappointed in the Texans loss but i'm not as heartbroken about it as previous playoff losses, I think I knew on a subconscious level that our season was pretty much over with the losses to Indy and Philly in the regular season, this team was too busted up to play in the wild card round. By the 3rd quarter it became apparent that there was no fucking way this team was going to stand a chance in New England in a freezing cold night time divisional playoff game, I mean we were counting on a rookie receiver who hasn't played in over a month c'mon.
But it was weird that i didn't really get all that mad about this one. I was proud that the defense got it together in the second half and kept it from being a total embarrassment and Deshaun fought his ass off to try to bring us back there in the end. This would have been a different game with Will Fuller or even D. Thomas. I just wish O'Brien wouldn't have abandoned the running game so early. Also there were a few bad no-calls and bad ball spots in Indy's favor in this game, that first bomb to Hopkins was pass interference all fucking day long and the Colts first 3rd down conversion they gave them an extra foot or so on that spot, that was clearly short and should have been challenged.
But hey man it is what it is, at least we didn't lose like this to the Titans or end another season in blowout in New England so it could have been way worse. Colts are a classy rival I'll be pulling for them to win it all from here on out that would take our division rivalry to the next level next year, maybe this will be the premier division rivalry in the NFL for the forseeable future.
I think we add a few pieces to this team and dominate 2019. Watson only beginning right now I think he's one of those guys that really hits a nice peak after 3-4 years in the league.

Watson is a warrior. That Texans team has a lot of warriors on it. Injuries and problems with the O-Line cost them. I agree that they’re going to be a main rivalry right now. The Jags are another losing season away from a premature rebuild mode. I don’t know if Fournette and Ramsey are in that uniform in 2 seasons. The Titans are just not that good on the offensive side. It’s Texans/Colts for a few years coming up.
I truly believe AB will be a 49ers WR next season and I think we may have seen the last of the Seahawks in the playoffs for a few years. 49ers/Rams are going to start running that division next season.
Anyways, super excited for today’s games. I got Chargers and Bears both winning today so let’s see how it goes. I’m very intrigued with both games, most especially the NFC showdown. Defending Super Bowl champs versus the best D in the NFL in a Chicago. Should be a war.
New England awaits the winner of today’s game and Dallas awaits the winner of today’s to see where they will travel. Just for those that don’t know, however minimal it may be.
Indy is facing KC next round. So the winner of LAC/Baltimore travels to New England to face the Patriots next week.
If Chicago wins, they face the Rams next week in Los Angeles and the Cowboys travel to New Orleans to face the Saints.
If Philadelphia wins, they face the Saints next week in New Orleans and Dallas travels to Los Angeles to face the Rams.

The Bears defense is dominate at home , I think they can shut down Foles and Philly , wouldn't be too surprised if it gets ugly even with turnovers and at least one defensive touchdown. They are a different defense on the road so I don't think they beat the Rams on the road and certainly not the Saints the week after.
Bears 27 Eagles 9
The other game I have no real feel for , the only thing that stands out to me is that it's in Baltimore and the Ravens are also much better at home , but I don't think the Chargers are a bad road team either. In a game that I think's a toss up I'll just take the better defense and home team but I wouldn't be shocked either way.
Ravens 20 Chargers 16
Side note - me and my buddy bet on every game all year , 20 bucks a piece. We generally take turns picking who we want. His first pick was the Texans yesterday which stuck me with the Colts (I would have also picked HOU so got lucky) and I picked Dallas last night which ended up a push.
For today's game I got Bears and Ravens. So here's to them covering!

What a stupid 3rd down call. Especially without Gordon in there.
You have huge targets and a good receiving options out of the backfield , Christ.

Can I ask where or how did this defensive group photo after a turnover begin? This had never happened before until I saw the Colts play the Jets and saw both defenses cause a turnover and get all eleven guys style and pose in front towards the endzone. Is this a new narrative or thing, because I feel like this happens after EVERY turnover nowadays.

I love how mobile quarterbacks are always the belle of ball , until shit gets real and they can’t pass the ball. Jackson is terrible at this point and if he can’t learn to pass the all he has no future.

I think they've gotta stick with him rather than go back to Flacco and hope he can make plays with his athletism.

Oh they should definitely dump Flacco and give Jackson time to develop , but if he sticks in the NFL it’s going to be because he improves his passing leaps and bounds.

God marty morninweg is so bad. You aren't fooling shit on that third down. He was so predictable with the Jets too. He isn't getting away with the shit he ran in Philly 8-9 years ago anymore. If Jackson can't throw for four yards to convert then he should not be out there. Enough.

This ain't the Ravens day when Tucker misses a FG. Still down nine that one hurt. Rivers has to breath and not force these throws now.

That should have been a TD by Watt
I think Gordon broke the plane before the ball went out.
Oh he lost control of ball nevermind. That sucks though that'd be a touch back for Ravens instead of a TD.

That was the worst spot in the history of football.
Upholding the ruling was iffy but that ball should have been on the one inch line.

Check mate. I hope Rivers brings his A game in Foxboro next week.
Three scores GG. Stay with Jackson no need to cause controversy going to offseason.Flacco isn't good enough to muster three scores in one quarter.

Can you imagine how pissed off Charger fans would be if they didn't score after all that?
