I'd heard a lot about how Neymar was a changed and improved player this season with far more discipline but he was the same as ever here. Mbappe was poor too, had a couple of good chances and completely fluffed them. Pretty laughable that they both stayed on while Di Maria, who was actually making things happen, got subbed, and Icardi didn't even come off the bench.

Neuer was excellent though (loved that wrestling-esque pose after he saved from Mbappe even when the latter was a mile offside) and Thiago controlled the play perfectly. Not a classic by any stretch overall, but at least better than last season's final.
