I am fine. It is basically flu-like with the vaccines.

My family and I recovered pretty easily. My kid was fine in like 48 hours, thank God. Then the hard part came where my wife and I were NOT fine, but had a fine 3 year old kid who was back to his normal HYPER behavior. Fun times.

I can't wait for these vaccines to get activated in our bodies so we can all simultaneously turn into mutant soldiers and fight for our flag~!

One thing the tinfoils have at least been right about is preaching self sufficiency and making sure you are stocked up on essentials in case of food shortages/natural disasters. I know everyone isn’t in a position to afford that but it’s almost 2 years since the first lockdown, good to prep over time.

Meanwhile people have been calling the government useless the whole time then get upset when they can’t rely on the government won’t help them.

I go out on my days off all the time as I work in a very social setting anyway so more than likely I’ll get omicron at work as it doesn’t differentiate whether I’m at a bar for leisure purposes or not.

So if I get it outside of work I can’t complain as I willingly went out but there is so many people going to huge gatherings then expecting sympathy when they get Covid and they don’t work around the general public either.

I'm still completely asymptomatic; haven't gotten any rapid test kits so relying on a mail-order PCR I get through work every week.

The worst part for me has been trying to stick with an intermittent fasting diet while locked inside my apartment 24 hours a day.

also how do people watch this much television every week? i'm catching up with various shows (since I have the time now, obv) but I'd go insane if I sat on my couch for this many hours regularly

The most unnerving part was a sky high heart rate... I mean day one and two it was pushing 120-150bpm.

Even today I got outside and cut the grass and cleaned up the yard like a true middle class Melbourne bogan and for hours after my heart has been 90-100.
Normally my resting heart rate is the not so low 70-80.

I'm double vaxxed, they are trying to rush people in here for their triple but I'm fast souring on the whole thing.

Daughter recovered faster than me, she had a fever for a few nights but she has her appetite back and is happy, just a few random coughs.

My friend just has Omicron sweep through her family of 5. She was the only one triple vaxxed and while it didn't stop her from catching it, she said her symptoms were the mildest of all 5 and she was better within a couple days. Then again, my friend who is suffering like you is triple vaxxed so I don't know...

So the fiancée and the kids got tested as well... she tested positive as well as one of the kids. I hate it, honestly feel like shit now, since I feel like I'm the reason they tested positive in the first place.

I mean this is kind of obvious.  We know this is how immunity works.  How we got treatment resistant infections.  

Still looks like I will get shots every three months.  While added value is reduced, doc still wants me to maximize immunity.
