Some US states preemptively banning requiring COVID vaccines from teachers or students, and are banning mask wearing. Schools will return in most of the US in several weeks with no social distancing or masks.

You’d think that would make preventing Covid spreading from international travellers a non-issue… OT but in my head going overseas = going to another country so I forget it’s a bigger deal for people to visit another country that’s actually overseas as oppose to travelling to another country via land.

Good thing what is happening in Brazil has no way of happening in America and it is totally fine to send kids back to school with no masks or social distancing because kids are not likely to get sick at all.

Not sure lockdowns will work for delta. It is just too damn contagious. People have to still interact sooner or later. Could be wrong but look to be in the doubling pattern already in NSW at least.

Work is suddenly busier than ever now that lockdown in the Hunter looms, combined with people putting their tax return through the Pokies. Given up on policing masks, if I don’t cop a fine personally (which I can’t find an answer to) I’m giving up on enforcing it when 90% of people think the chin diaper is the way to wear it Is he alleged to have shit himself before ordering at McDonalds or after ordering and consuming? Because If it was the latter he should have seen the situation coming after eating there..,

A coworker reported covid-like symptoms so we'll see how that goes for the office. Luckily he was on PTO the first half of this week and hasn't been in so I doubt the rest of us are affected.
