You hsve to be at least 35 to be eligible to run for President. I'm not sure if AOC will be old enough by 2024. 2028 or 2032 is probably more reasonable for her. She can run 2024. Just old enough to turn 35 by the time would take office. Also seriously, who do the democrats have otherwise that did not run this time and failed to gain any traction? I mean, this is Bernie and Warren's swansong. Biden and Bloomberg will not run again. Harris, Pete, Amy, Booker, Castro, Swalwell and O'Rourke failed to gain traction. Pretty much only people we have left are Stacey Abrams, Jerry Brown, John Kerry, Andrew Cuomo, Adam Schiff, Martin O'Malley and the Kennedy kid. AOC is far more popular than any of them. Democrats really did not think through what a primary would do to those who lost and kind of weakened the entire field of top people in one fell swoop for 2024 and even 2028 if people do not recover. I mean if you cannot gain support over two people running on socialist platforms and a former VP who is not even trying what does not that say? God forbid Bloomberg finishes 2nd or 3rd in the caucasus it will be even worse.

I’m just glad I survived almost half of the US population being murdered by guns since 2007. It was close. We need another purge.

Will not come to the US. We can build a wall it cannot cross <.<
The US is so fucked... The people who cannot afford to seek treatment when they sick and cannot take time off work when sick without risking getting fired are the ones who work service jobs that require them interacting with people and they also work almost all jobs dealing with food. Meanwhile, our government is basically saying they stopped the ability for the virus to come into America. Everyone in epidemiology is freaking out about how ill-prepared we actually are to stop a pandemic when we cannot really even contain a relatively low mortality one.
Classic stock market is crashing, but other weird shit going on there with the rise of autistic trading. Assume the autists will come out fine the crazy fuckers they are.
In other news, superdelegates actively campaigning against Bernie now. The drug lobbyists in particular want to sink Bernie. Media is starting to call them out for it. But several who actively give to Mitch and other republicans are hoping to broker the convention and end Bernie's run. I think if they succeed they will crack the party. Also not entirely sure Bernie will sit out the general election this time. He could use the threat of running third party against democrats since he is technically not a democrat, just caucuses with them.

He technically is a Democrat now, he had to join the party to run in their primary. Had not been until 2016.

I did not realize he did formally join. Either way, he could still run third party. Doubt he will, but if he is screwed over twice by the DNC, I do not expect socialists to caucus with the democrats in the future. Moreso when some of the people deciding the candidates do not represent the voters and actively are supporting GOP candidates.
Today's fun GOP talking points are the coronavirus is just made up by the liberal media trying to screw Trump in the 2020 election and Trump is America's first true black president. Also Don Jr's theory that the coronavirus is a liberal conspiracy to kill old and poor Trump voters is floating around.

Congratulations, Mr. Trump, on the biggest stock drop in American history. I know we hate everything and want everything to burn, but this drop isn't anyone person's fault man. If anything, blame Bloomberg terminals.

Hey, if he wants to take credit for when the stock market is doing well, he should be held accountable when it sucks.

Corona Virus wasn't a thing until Trump was in office.
Coincidence? I think not.

Hey, if he wants to take credit for when the stock market is doing well, he should be held accountable when it sucks. That only works if you give him the credit for the stock market doing incredibly well.

He did allow the rally in that he gave huge tax cuts and deregulated a lot of protections. There is a lot of faith that Trump will be the most business friendly president in that he will want to profit himself, and what profits him, helps the rest of the super rich. Also he will do shitty moves for short term profit even at the expensive of long term damage. Perfect person to rally behind if you can get out before it is too late.

So Pete is out. I know polls say Bernie is just slightly the top 2nd choice of Pete voters, but when push comes to shove, I cam't see them not mostly voting for Biden...not good.

I really cannot understand Pete dropping out before Super Tuesday, it wouldn't cost him any more to see the week out. I smell a deal, whose VP candidate is he going to be? I also don't see his votes going to Joe, I think Amy will get the bump. She has to be holding out now for a VP offer right?

If it's a cabinet position or future support from the DNC, who knows. I doubt it's VP, two moderate white males doesn't check enough boxes. Only way I see it being a VP spot is if he swerves everyone and endorses Warren. I have to think Amy is gone after Minnesota on Super Tuesday.

He avoids looking worse when he got trounced on Super Tuesday for his next run. But I can still see Pete being a Biden VP pick. Biden is going to have to go young.

Yeah Pete leaving solidifies him as a top person to run next time. Given most of the candidates are so old this has to be one of their final runs, he can actually look to the future. Also gives him plenty of time to work deals into an executive role as well. Plus saves him from dumping more money into a race he could not win.
Not be shocked to see Amy drop soon too. DNC will not favor her over Biden or Bloomberg, so no point in her going on either.

DNC red wedding is beginning. It's a lot like the red wedding, where the North turned on their own and missed their chance at the throne. I think it's going to be a ticket of Biden/Klobuchar Or Sanders/Buttigeg Biden needs a woman because he's a creepy uncle. Sanders needs a moderate to settle down the centre. Badly handed by the DNC, they should have had these guys pull out after Super Tuesday as this looks like a plan to scuttle Bernie, after Super Tuesday it would have just been life... Amy and Pete had already raised and called they had nothing to lose by seeing the cards fall.

Sanders will not take a moderate. That is not who he is and his base will loathe him for it.
Buttigeg also endorsed Biden.

His campaign did. His sole path to victory was to have the majority of delegates before superdelegates. Biden's win makes that path look very unlikely even if Bernie gets all of Warrens delegates. DNC may not have to screw him, as if Biden rolls in with the majority from the states, they can simply tell Bernie, they will honor the people's choice. Will get ugly as this will be twice Bernie tried to make the election ugly despite not having the votes he needed to do so. Meanwhile my facebook is still trying to come up with ways for Warren to win <.<
