I find it funny how Trump should not be charged in DC because it is political. He should not be charged in NYC because it is political. He should not be charged in Florida because it is political. He should not be charged in Georgia because it is political.

Like where is it ok to charge him? And at what point do you say maybe someone who was president should know not to commit so many felonies that a grand jury can indict him on.

The fact he is several dozen lawsuits going on should be a red flag that things are not right with him. Normal people are not getting sued this regularly. His lawsuits have a longer wikipedia page than most people have and they only capture a fraction of them.  By 2016 he was sued over 4000 times.

Trump overnight updates. Cannon not doing the arrangement but has yet to be formally replaced. Goodman looking like he may take over. Things very uncertain now as Goodman retired in April. But it is a sign that the court realizes Cannon on the case is not a good look and a waste of the court's time given how easy it can mistrial.

DA asking for expedited trial, and says they need three weeks to present the case. They plan to appeal and ask for an expedited appear as well if it is not granted. The fact Trump routinely abuses delaying trials, often for years, is becoming well known in the courts, and may truly come back to bite here as delays likely will not be granted.

Trump will not have a full legal team for the arrangement as he is still having issues getting seasoned trial lawyers on this case. Most of his lawyers are PR people and not ones who are successful in court.

People starting to wonder if Walt Nauta will be treated far worse in the trial than Trump, despite Trump being charged with far more than Nauta. Likely Nauta will be held without bail, while Trump is released without having to put money up.

People also believe Nauta will sentenced more harshly than Trump as well.

Trial very likely gonna show very clearly the two tier justice system in action.

MAGA losing their minds now that Trump is facing very serious charges. Lots of calls for violence tomorrow and a push to get MAGA voters to believe this is the start of a dictatorship. They are claiming that Clinton not being charged while Trump is shows the liberals have taken over the country via the deep state.

Of course Clinton had a grand jury and FBI could not get a case together that they would indict her on. And the same people who claim the Trump should not be charged because it is political chanted lock her up at Trump rallies.

So interested in what the MAGA turnout will look like tomorrow. It is in Florida and the calls for people to come ready to fight have been sent. Question is will they fall for this again after Trump left them to rot after Jan 6th.

Yet the investigations into him for lying about having national security documents, and hiding them from his own lawyers so he could keep them, is political.

What charges he will be investigating are not made clear, just Bidengate it appears.

They are securing the courthouse now for Trump's appearance.  His followers are already protesting.  They are massing in a nearby hotel where Trump is staying.  Police already had to stop them from harassing people.  May not even make it to sundown before violence starts.

Trump just showed up not too long ago.  He did not address the filthy peasants worshipping him.

Before he appears in court, Trump will be doing local radio interviews in Miami. He so is trying to rally troops to stop it from happening. Some other alt right leaders claim they are heading out as well. Miami not planning now on diverting roads or providing anything outside of the minimal security that is demanded by the secret service.

The thing missing from making this a true powder keg is time. They are relying on locals to attend, and the number that are willing to go to jail for Trump may be limited. Counter protesters also coming, which they will blame for any and all violence.

Americans for Prosperity Action doing a multimedia ad blitz against Trump spending millions. Charle Koch doing all he can to make sure there is no second Trump presidency. Ads are trying to hammer home that if the GOP nominate Trump it is the same as giving Biden a second term.

This is savage, Newsom talks about Biden on Hannity and tears apart most of the right wing attacks on Biden with ease.  He is def gonna be the next Dem president if he enters the race finally.  

Analysis I am seeing is saying essentially the election will determine Trump's fate. Cannon is very likely to allow Trump to delay the trial until after the election by giving Trump what delays he wants and should Trump win, he will order the DOJ to withdraw the case. Expected a ton of procedural delays are coming as they allow Cannon to help Trump without showing legal bias, which would get her removed from the case.

Not much likely will be done today as the drama all is likely to start when they go before Cannon. Believe once they see her for the first time, Trump will kick the case well into 2024.

His legal team if he is sentenced, will argue any sentence against him is cruel or unusual punishment due to his age, amplifying any jail time into a life sentence.

Protesters and media now cleared from the Courthouse as the bomb squad comes out to investigate a mysterious TV with weird wires coming out of it was tied to a pole. Bomb threats was called in as well.

Court house was evacuated and dogs are searching it now.

Trump on the way to the courthouse now.  No one knows when it will be deemed secure enough for him to enter.  Likely he will try to postpone things using the bomb threat as a justification it is not safe.

Because of the bomb threat the media may not be able to cover the arrangement at all.

Police did not separate the MAGA protesters and supporters and now they are fighting. Only barricades they have are police tape.

MAGA now saying no one showed up to support Trump and it is only media, feds and antifa there.  They are also reporting a huge turnout to support Trump and protest this injustice.

Interesting new twist in all this. This case should be covered by the CIPA act, which means the right to expedited appeals and a swift trial. So any decision that needs appeals, will be resolved in days, including appealing Cannon overseeing the case. Precedent exists already to use CIPA in espionage act cases.

Unsure if the expedited appeal also applies to the Supreme Court but they will likely act fast as they had made fast decisions in the past as to whether or not they would consider Trump's appeals.

This also means Trump can move to seal the entire trial so only the outcome is made public.
