Not my #1 but looking at my list it should have been my #5 or 6. As I remember enjoying it more than those. Would have placed Zoolander higher too.
I think Happy Gilmore was the first movie in years to make me laugh so much (that didn't have John Candy or Robin Williams in it). Stiller also makes a great evil orderly in it so while technically a Sandler movie, also has Stiller. Still very rewatchable and very quotable. 'The price is wrong bitch!', 'you're going to die clown!' or 'Why don't you just go home?! That's your HOME! Are you too good for your home?'

Happy Gilmore was my #1 for the same reasons as UT & Rogue.
When this countdown began I figured it would be a 3 way race between Happy, Mary, and the underachieving Tropic Thunder. I had no idea Dodgeball was so popular. Does not compute!
The only movie on my list that didn't make PW's is Mr. Deeds, which I had way up at #3. PW isn't very sneaky sneaky.

Neither guy are really my cup of tea, so I haven't been super active in this countdown, as well as being quite busy in general. Yet, when I look at my list, there isn't a film there I don't think is really good fun. Except for Click. It could be, I just haven't seen it since it came out and have next to no memory of it as it was a first date and the film was the last thing on my mind. But I didn't actively dislike it, which was the case for the other films I'd seen in contention for number 10.

I loved Dodgeball, but I constantly forget Ben Stiller was actually in the movie until I watch it. Easily quotable and I find it hilarious every time I watch it but it still doesn’t come close to any Adam Sandler movie. My whole top 15 list was just Sandler movies.
Happy Gilmore I LOVE! Such a hilarious movie. Storyline is great, and of course you get the movie that has Sandler and Stiller together, so it’s a perfect number 1. It’s all in the hips!

Mystery Men is admittedly an acquired taste I don’t hate it , it’s not hilariously funny but it’s a weird darkish humor that makes me laugh. Fun cast too with Stiller , my beloved William H. Macy and JG (abbreviated because I can’t spell it properly).

GOAT villain in Shooter who pigeon holed McDonald so much that I can never see him as anyone or anything else than a complete asshole. Also has Stiller in a small but incredible part where he bats .1000 and crushes every line. One movie from my list that I wish would have made it somehow was Bulletproof. Fucking love that movie with Sandler and Wayans and thinks it's his most underrated. If you haven't seen it and like SANDLER , check it out. It don't have the Billy Madison stuff that turns people off either. Fuck action/comedy buddy cop movie. On my 2000's list there is a character played by Christopher McDonald that comes real close to Shooter McGavin territory and he's not an asshole. The only right answer for number 1 is Happy Gilmore. My list would have been pretty much all Sandler had I submitted one.
