Shit. I forgot Tropic Thunder. An awesome movie. Would’ve been my top Stiller movie considering Zoolander sucks ass.

Whenever I hear people talk about Tropic Thunder, it's always "Tom Cruise is amazing best cameo ever". Now I'm hearing a bit more information - it's some kind of satire on Hollywood. But mostly Tom Cruise. That dude is so good in Tropic Thunder!

It's a satire on blockbuster Hollywood and war movies mainly , flat out makes fun of it at some points with Stiller playing the action hero who went "full retard" like actors do in Hollywood for Oscar bait. Downey is in black face , Jack Black plays the chubby hilarious sidekick who is fucked up on drugs and Jay Baruchel is there too. I like Jay but I barely remember him in this movie. Tom Cruise does have an AMAZING cameo , mainly because you can't even recognize him at first and then he goes completely over the top as eccentric prickish Hollywood agent that can't really be explained - you should just really watch it. For all the silliness and over the top gags it's actually a really smart comedy that was well written by Stiller.

Zoolander is too whimsical and unique to provide generic forum gif material.

Truthfully I was looking for the classic Donkey Kong/Mortal Kombat line one.
"you know something YOU suck" to match the "sucks ass" comment.

Tropic Thunder was my #2 for being a great and hilarious satire of Hollywood with at least one quote entering the pop culture lexicon. I only watched it once a few years back with my brother but loved it. Watching it years after the fact meant I was (sadly) spoiled in knowing it featured Tom Cruise in a very non-Tom Cruise role. Surprised nobody had mentioned Cruise's character allegedly being based on disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein yet.
Expected this to finish higher and I'm honestly having some minor regrets about "only" having it at #2.

Zoolander is too whimsical and unique to provide generic forum gif material. Whimsical and unique or terrible and uninspiring?

Tropic Thunder was my #5, just a top notch comedy, filled top to bottom with memorable roles (though obviously RDJ was the most memorable). So many great lines and moments.

I'm just marking out over the PW usage of the word whimsical.

I'm just marking out over the PW usage of the word whimsical. It's totally pseudo intellectual. 50 First Dates is a solid romcom , I don't think it fully hit the mark with me as it should have on the comedy side but it's a great concept that is pulled off well because the leads have chemistry. Sean Astin in a "heat check" performance provides most of the laughs and Sandler plays it pretty straight , which it seems like he was going for more at this point in his career. I don't go back to it much at all , especially compared to other Sandler or Stiller flicks but #10 is a fair enough spot even though it missed my Top 10.

Exactly where I had it, not the best on either comedy or drama side, but a decent mix of both. Chemistry between Sandler and Barrymore really sold it.

50 First Dates was my No. 4. Sandler & Barrymore just have the best chemistry and for me it was a great mix of romance and comedy. Any time it's on I will watch quite happily.

50 First Dates was my #2. Solid comedy and great chemistry between Sandler & Barrymore they originally established in The Wedding Singer. I mean what woman wouldn't want a man who loves her enough to start again every day.

I've never seen 50 First Dates, but I've seen Blended... which was surprisingly good!

Ten Second Tom and Sean Astin are the best

Sorry the the delay guys , daughters birthday was yesterday and it was pretty hectic and today I needed some recovery laziness.
I like Meet the Parents , solid flick and SUPER popular with a ton of people but I rate it in the middle of Stiller's filmography and just outside this list. Bobby D is great as Jack and there are a few super quotable and memorable lines but overall it just misses a bit for me. #9 seems about right for it though because I do know there is a facet of people who adore this movie.

I had it as #7. I actually think I prefer Meet the Fockers because Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand were so great, but I thought this film was funny and re-watchable. Maybe not an ass planter, but if someone had it on and I was there I'd watch and laugh.

It would’ve probably made my list as my second favorite movie with Ben Stiller in it but it would have been close.
(Number one though: Cable Guy. Yeah I really don’t like Ben Stiller)

I was never as hyped as others, but it was a fine movie, funny enough, Bobby D. killed it. No real complaints in the placement.

I had it as my no.6, and I'm still happy with that. De Niro was great, and although I haven't seen it in quite some time I remember really liking it and it genuinely making me laugh.
