It's pretty standard stuff. Stuff you know you shouldn't do or say, but do anyway. There was anything I didn't already know, just stuff I chose to ignore. It's just a way to placate the masses. In my case, my boss did it to satisfy the corporate hive mind. Even though I was the only woman in the class (other than one of the instructors), I bet my Bowen Jean Grey statue there wasn't anyone in there who learned anything new either.

I wouldn't have posted solely based on that I truly don't care about that. However Corny does come across as most wrestlers today shouldn't be able to make a living. There's a danger here that innocent people who didn't actually commit a crime are trialed by social media and the allegations on Twitter are amplified due to the hysteria around all this - while actually being innocent of an actual crime.

Saraya Knight's post from a couple of days ago is looking pretty hypocritical with accusations about the Knight family's "training" involving physical and mental abuse - as well as a story from a fan who said Saraya french kissed him after a show when he was 11 years old.

There's now 15 separate accusations against Joey Ryan. Far out.

God, I had to do this for human subject research authorization, then every year.  It was LONG and boring.  The year they made us do the microtransaction stuff was unreal.  Was told not to compliment women, move your hands when you speak, speak with authority (as someone who presents research as an authority), stand when people are seated and shit like that.  

I imagine "sensitivity training" is just a lesson in basic human decency and common sense, but it's clear that a person like Sammy Guevara would need that.

He was young and immature when he made that statement. He said something very stupid probably without fully understanding the significance of his words.

I think the reaction from AEW is appropriate, although it's unclear whether it will trigger real change. That's up to Sammy himself, I guess.

Well the UK girls turned on Sweet Saraya. She deleted her social media and may be leaving wrestling. They are attacking Paige and Bellatrix now as well. Some are even going as far as going after The Rock. Saraya says she is done playing and is forwarding every to Norfolk police for investigation.

It is really sad that all this has happened obviously. It is also great that so much of it is coming out and people are being supported and shown that they can speak out. The more people that speak out and provide evidence (unfortunately a difficult thing to do in many cases), the more would-be offenders will be dissuaded, hopefully at least.

I'm sure most guys have had their arse grabbed at least once in a pub or club by a drunk woman, although the frequency is nowhere near the same. Many people don't like this, but I don't really consider them the same. Not saying women should do it, but on average the potential threat level of a man grabbing a woman and a woman grabbing a man is not the same. When it has happened to me walking through a club (it isn't like I'm attractive, people are just handsy when drunk), I never once felt under threat. Although there is a lot of nuance required in a discussion of this and of wider intergender violence. With my own bias as a man, I don't view them the same both ways on average, but concede that may be harmful.

If it's valid then it should 100% be dealt with.  I like Julie/Saraya, but woman or man; sexual assault, is sexual assault or even just plain assault.  If you are in the wrong, you are in the wrong.

For any claim that is PROVEN false, they should be dealt with just as severely as those who are guilty.
