Honestly, HHH may not even want him back for that little.  WWE guys been the most vocal on Punk outside of Jericho.  Same deal though as AEW, many were coming up while Punk was a top indy star and likely experienced asshole Punk first there.  Maybe in 20 years he will get inducted, but not anytime soon.

AJ Lee is far more likely to get inducted than Punk.

I assume at this point he plans to just sit out and do his real estate stuff until HHH gets him back.  I get him not wanting to lead House of Black, but not losing a match is just fucking petty.  Curious if Miro will buy himself out or just sit at home for three more years. 

There also is a very likely chance Miro is a Punk guy like FTR.

Miro does not need the cash.  He took his WWE cash and went into real estate as a hobby, buying a new property every PPV he worked.  Dude also is extremely frugal and living in Eastern Europe.  Plus Lana makes a bit cash for them.  

He really does not seem to care about exposure either.  I suspect if he never wrestled again he would be happy.

Hard guy to really negotiate with since almost impossible to get any leverage on him.  You give him something he likes, or do not work with him it seems like.

Sure if you don't need the money if they ain't booking you like BOBCORE don't bother.

Looking into everything, Mox complained about being interim champ and Punk tried claim he should not do a match because he was not cleared. Then talk of stripping him started and suddenly Punk is willing to wrestle and drop the title but it is super dangerous because he is still very hurt and not medically cleared. Then 11 days later he is fully healed to work 20 minutes and beat Mox for the title.

The irony of course is, that he was also super hurt facing Mox in WWE. When he was put with the Shield he was suddenly too hurt to keep working in WWE, despite beating the Shield every night in 3 on 1 handicap matches. And of course he started to get sick in WWE after he lost the belt and stopped being booked at the top of the card.

It's tricky because Tony has fostered this environment where the talent can take their ball and go home. Miro is being unprofessional and isn't helping his own reputation but at the same time, he has the power to vetoe ideas. When Cody spoke about the magic of early AEW, you'd have to imagine guys like Andrade and Miro were the type of talents he was talking about.

It would be such a tough balancing act booking Miro. He's got to be booked strongly, but with the way the promotion is booked, who can he beat without immediately returning the favour? It's the same situation Lance Archer has found himself in and it's a tough cycle to break out of.

I still think there has to be more to the story. It doesn't make sense to book that match, so I think we're only hearing a part of the story.

I tend to agree for the most part, although if the rumours/speculation that Khan wanted Miro to lead the House of Black (while Malakai was taking time off) are true, I can't fault Miro for not wanting to do it, especially if it goes against his religious beliefs.

All conversations that are held “back of house” at AEW shows or scheduled events, in- person or virtually (including talent meetings), are confidential and are not to be discussed publicly.

Directing abusive, profane, or threatening language towards AEW respect for AEW at all times. Offenses against AEW include verbal or other non-physical abuse.

This applies at all AEW event locations, including at the arena or event venue, airports and other transportation modes to and from an AEW event, and at hotels or other accommodations provided in connection with AEW.

Public Criticism of Fellow Team Members

AEW policy prohibits public criticism of fellow team members. Such prohibited public statements may include, but are not limited to:

Accusations or criticism of fellow team members or the organization as a whole.

Accusations or criticism of tactics/style of wrestling of fellow team members.

Accusations or suggestions that certain issues consistently occur in a particular match.

Innuendos and indirect statements will also be considered prohibited. While understanding that social media can be used to help advance storylines, first please check with those with whom you are working before posting.

This is standard legal corporate policy in America.  Called a non-disparagement clause.
