He stopped streaming when he debuted in AEW.  He is all in on his real estate empire now and other businesses.

Jon Moxley interview is worthy of its own thread. This should definitely dominate AEW discussion for a little bit. I've seen the quotes and plan on listening to it today.

These days games take 3 to 5 to make for AAA titles for most studios with large staffs. A lot of people are whining this is taking forever, but really, it is taking about the same amount of time it takes to make anything that does not reuse or adapt an engine and assets for modern systems. And this wait is nothing compared to the wait I been going through for freaking Mewgenics. That game was first announced in 2012, cancelled in 2016, then restarted in 2018 and likely is coming out in 2024. All this wait just for final fantasy tactics but all your units are cats and instead of recruiting you breed new cats.

Don't start dude. This is a massive fail for the company and there's no arguing about it. They let fans believe that this game would be out by now and we're looking at a possible situation where it doesn't come out until 2024. That's not good.

And it's one thing for usual gamers to be disappointed at delays, but this is wrestling fans we're talking about. You don't fuck around with wrestling fans. We're insane.

It was absurd to think they could build an engine and make a game in a year. But I am convinced at this point no one will be happy with this game as expectations are unrealistically high by fans, and haters will shit on anything less than perfect despite having no desire to play it anyway.

Nordic dude livestream made it seem like the game was feature finished, and had been for a while, and focus was on the ports and localizations at this point. Which is where a major part of the delay will be. Tony wanted this to release on six platforms, worldwide. So while this shit prep, along with all of the shit that goes into moving to actual distribution for every region, dev team is polishing and bug hunting. Game will likely go gold, announce a date and release extremely fast though. Really feels like they are waiting to go gold before giving up that date though which is really odd.  Nordic community guy was strict no comment on release timelines.

I would put money on the fucking Switch holding this all up.  It is the weakest of the systems and likely they are having to rewrite large chunks of the game, and doing rerenders, to get it to run.  Dev are saying it is becoming notorious difficult to program for as things just do not work the way they should on it.

Also not gonna lie, I secretly hope people are documenting this development so we get a netflix series on this game in the future since this could be an absolutely legendly failed launch.

Oh shit forgot about cross platform play too being a thing.   From what I understand, this is a nightmare to deal with since even playstation to xbox crossplay can be difficult before you bring in nintendo and PC.   Also then encourages solving latency effects on gameplay and balancing wrestlers for competitive play.  

This game is like a dev's nightmare.

Yukes made a lot of the early WWE games and own majority shares in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Not sure how they have no business developing another wrestling game.

Looking back at early news from the game, they had 2023 as the target, so game is not even delayed. People are mad that dirt sheets said it would be out in sept, then nov, then in feb, then march, when they did not bother to confirm anything.

And the main delay was addressed, they had trouble getting a teen rating in the US and internationally with the amount of blood, and had to redo the blood mechanic to get it rated.  Girls bleeding is a no for teen rating.

When it's a pet project of Kenny Omega's, I'd imagine his wealth of knowledge from playing Super Street Fighter makes him a fantastic mind to oversee the creative development.

Maybe if he spent less time trying to kidnap Punk’s dog and getting bit by Ace Steel, the game might be finished already!

Does Dante Martin come with a permanently broken limb?

Real question is will Punk's dog be a usable weapon in backstage brawls?

Did they look at the available move sets and go " needs more superkicks " ?

Do some wrestlers disappear all together from the menu screen for months on end and even when available, some refuse to load?

I want the realistic career mode with guys getting suspended, sent to rehab or refusing to work.

I want a career mode where Jericho just randomly decides you're in his stable, and now you've got to complete mini games including and not limited to : carrying his bags, fetching the car, and now your character wears a purple hat to show his ownership.

Maybe that's why it's not coming out. They're focusing on THAT. Career mode over vs. mode.

I hope when you play as Wardlow and win 30 in row, and become number 1 contender, the game just crashes and goes " yeah, you gotta start again "

Likely fits here better than anywhere else. Britt clarified the issues with Rosa was she was not coming to the tapings at all while injured while people like Statlander show up every week they can to try to help out and meet with fans and or help out backstage. The issue is not that Rosa may be faking being hurt, but she is not at all a team player that was the problem. Even now she is not at the tapings despite doing commentary.

Seems the norm for most people that are hurt, once they can travel again, to come to the shows, but Rosa did not.

The fact that Rosa has heat with a few different people suggests she isn't an angel, but Britt has come off so badly during all of this. She has made so many stupid and contradictory claims that have just made her look like a bully. Maybe they think it's good to have this work-shoot stuff for their little All Access show but this is one of those times that someone in charge should have just told her to shut up about it now.

The show does start things a bit late.  Originally the heat started with Rosa working needless stiff and being reckless culminating in her breaking Hayter's nose.  

That said yeah the EVPS, Tony, Daniels or Sonjay should have gotten involved.  Many seen this shit wreck locker rooms before but they just like let it go and let Rosa keep talking with dirtsheets, then Britt and did nothing.
