I’m hearing a lot of the same things. The PFF podcast spent 20 minutes debating it.
I’d still take Sewell and move Williams inside where he was projected at anyways. Riley Reiff sure as shit shouldn’t be the reason you pass on a potential all pro tackle. That’s stupid.

If Cincinnati takes Pitts then holy fuck that offense is going to be AWESOME to watch! Maybe we don't get the full glimpse of it next season, but the year after and so on; my goodness. The Bengals would be fantasy heaven and Burrow would be an MVP within the next 5 years.

LoL. Jerry Jones makes me chuckle.
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is "infatuated" with Florida's Kyle Pitts and could trade up to draft the Florida tight end. Add this to the storied history of Jones becoming fixated on an explosive offensive weapon in the weeks leading up to the NFL Draft. Dallas, which now has the tenth pick in the draft, would likely have to part ways with their 2022 first rounder -- and more, perhaps -- to acquire the Falcons' No. 4 spot and draft Pitts, who would join an offense jam packed with talent. If Pitts lands in Dallas, he would have an outrageously high average draft position in seasonal leagues.

That would be insane , they already have one of the best receiving corps in the NFL and their tight ends aren't bad at all. Schultz and dude that got injured whos name escapes me.
Mort was the same guy last year who was dead set on the Dolphins being dead set on taking Herbert and Tua falling to the Chargers right? I don't know how much to ever believe the predraft rumors.

That 4th overall pick the Falcons own has a lot of eyes on it. I just mentioned the Cowboys, but now the Redskins are also wanting to move up to that pick to go ALL IN on Trey Lance.
This draft is going to be one of the wildest in awhile, I think.

I recommend Colleen Wolfe's new podcast On The Clock for anyone looking for something a bit different to the typical draft coverage ("this dude is fun to watch!", "this guy is Tyreek Hill fast!") and a bit more conversational and light hearted.
Listened to the Javonte Williams episode on the way into work this morning and it was really fun to learn about his background. He seems like a really humble, intelligent dude. Probably the most amusing tidbit was that he said he'd met with every single team, except for the Browns! I guess they are pretty set at RB...

I've been listening a lot to the PFF and Locked On Podcasts. I like Locked On because it has an hour long (or so) national draft podcast and then a separate podcast for all 32 teams. The Packers one has been informative and I got a pretty good bead on who I think they're going to take , or at least a pool based on the picks in the Goot era.
I don't like player interviews. They never , ever seem genuine. I do love Colleen Wolfe though. Tough call.

Few things on my mind.
1. Jamarr Chase is a bit overrated , I don't think he should go Top 10 in this year or any year. I think he's a really good player but unless your special or a physical specimen of sorts you don't belong going that early IMO. Definitely not Waddle or Smith either , though I do think Smith is the best of the bunch. Also Cincy is moronic if they take him over Sewell that early.
2. My draft crushes , with the star by the ones I think the Packers could plausibly draft. Kyle Pitts , Kadarius Toney* , Greg Newsome* , Elijah Moore* , Elijah Molden* , Azeez Ojulari , Jabril Cox* , Jevon Holland* , Javonte Williams , Tommy Tremble* , Quinn Meinerz* , Joe Tryon
3. Players I'm warming up to moore - Dillon Radunz* , Rondale Moore* , Payton Turner*
4. Double down on Cincy being moronic to take Chase over Sewell. Pitts should be the only pass catcher in the Top 10. Pitts is going to be special.

www.pff.com/draft/nfl-mock-draft-simulator Blindy or @admin , y'all played around with this? You can do full seven round mocks for your team in under 5 minutes based on your parameters. Just did a Packers one , can't figure out how to paste the end pictures here but: 1. JOK (LB) (B+) 2. Liam Eichenburg (OT) (C+) 3. Aaron Robinson (CB) (A-) 4. D'waune Eskeridge (WR) (A-) 4. Tommy Togiai (DT) (C+) 5. Drew Dalman (C) (C+) 5. Shaka Toney (Edge) (A-) 6. Zech McPhearson (CB) (A-) 6. Dazz Newsome (WR) (A-) 7. Matt Bushman (TE) (C+) Overall Grade from PFF = B+ You can do trades too and have to give up picks and get accepted through the simulator. I'll probably do that next time just to see and because I expect the Packers to trade up. Also have to mess with the simulation settings a bit to get it a bit more on page with what will probably happen but it's not too hard.

I think Slater goes before Sewell TBH, seeing some draft evaluators say Slater is the OT1, not Sewell.

Did one for your Jets out of boredom Blindy2. Zach Wilson , QB , BYU - Duh (PFF Grade: A+) 23. Jaelen Phillips , Edge , Miami - Your boy plus I think a team with a second first rounder could take the chance. (PFF Grade: B+) 34. Alex Leatherwood , OL , Alabama - He could be a late first guy but versatile and should start. (PFF Grade: C+) 66. Ifeatu Melifonwu , CB , Syracuse - A bit of a slide but anywhere from late 1st to early 3rd seems plausible. (PFF Grade: A-) 86. Tyson Campbell , CB , Georgia - Double dipping at a position can generally work out with another upside pick. (PFF Grade: A-) 107. Hunter Long , TE , BC - A big pass catcher , may never be spectacular but could be a good all around starter. (PFF Grade: A-) 146. Shaka Toney , Edge , Penn State - Can never have enough edge players , especially for Saleh. (PFF Grade: A-) 154. Spencer Brown , T , Northern Iowa - Depth and potential starter , super high upside guy. (PFF Grade: C+) 186. Jarret Patterson , RB , Buffalo - Late in the draft you take a chance on a super production guy in college to come in and compete. (PFF Grade: A-) Overall Jets Grade: A-

Here's mine: Looking forward to seeing where the Buffalo guys end up in the late rounds. I talked about Eskridge in our mock but Nunn was a lot of fun to watch in the MAC too - he did all his damage as Buffalo's only real receiver behind the Paterson/Marks heavy run attack.

There’s a ton of fun receiving prospects in this draft , especially late.
My other new crush: Jaelon Darden from North Texas. That kid is going to have a career , may never be great but he’s going to be an impact returner and slot guy.
Also check out Jalen Camp. Dude is a physical freak and has upside out the ass - but raw as hell and probably shouldn’t be more than a 6th rounder. 6’2” , 225 with a 4.43 40 and 40 in vertical leap.
That RB kid out of Iowa State too I’ve been mocking a lot late. Another freak physically even though as a running back he’s raw. I want him too.

The receivers will be a nightmare for scouts I imagine - it seems like every team is going into the draft with the expectation that they'll find themselves one of these toolsy guys on Day 2 & 3 but obviously there will only end up being a handful (or less) that pan out despite the idea that this is a strong class.

Oh for sure , even more reason why Chase or none of these guys should go in the Top 10 or maybe even 12. Subscribing more and more to that fact the more research I do on it. Also the more I look into it , I see zero reason why he should be taken over Smith.

(PFF Grade: A-) Overall Jets Grade: A- Really like what you did here. I am cool with the gamble on Phillips, he will hit a heavy need on the edge next to Lawson. Not sure if Leatherwood fits the type of OLine that Shanahan style offense runs but the idea is good, I think Leatherwood needs a little more polish personally but am cool with it. The Melifonwu & Campbell picks are golden, I see Campbell as a 2nd round talent though. His teammate Eric Stokes might be more feasible in round 3 but he too is garnering buzz. The Hunter Long pick is top notch, all around good TE and would instantly help us at run blocking. I do think we need a coverage LB over a 2nd Edge as we'd start Blake Cashman on the weakside next to Mosley. The RB late is fine, they might go a little sooner for the position and I would like a speed WR but can't get em all. Heard Jets are high on former track star and ex Auburn WR Schwartz for his speed which he was 0.03 off Ross's 40 time record, think he pulled the fastest 40 time of all the 2021 guys. Might be a round 4 guy. We got 2 5th's(Thx @admin) and 2 6th's(Thx Carolina). Might go after the Florida kicker McPherson with one of the late picks.

Bored this morning waiting for it to dry up outside so I can do some yardwork , quick pitch at my favorite prospects from all the positions.
Quarterback 1. Trevor Lawrence 2a. Zach Wilson 2b. Justin Fields 4. Trey Lance 5. Mac Jones Sleeper: None
Fun class , I really like Fields and Wilson the same and can't decide between the two , I think they both will be good and people are being stupid in regards to Fields. Weird that I like NONE of the quarterbacks after the top five really , maybe Davis Mills but wouldn't call him a sleeper.
Running Backs 1. Javonte Williams 2. Najee Harris 3. Travis Etienne 4. Khalil Herbert 5. Elijah Mitchell Sleeper: Kene Nwangwu
I like the sleeper potential of this class , I think Williams will be the best back in the league but I also think he will have the chance to go to the best situation. You don't take running backs in the first round , I'm back on that shit again - dumb move and I worry for Harris early on if Pittsburgh fucks it up.
Wide Receivers 1. Devonta Smith 2. Jamar Chase 3. Rashad Bateman 4. Kadarius Toney 5. Jaylen Waddle Sleeper: Jalen Camp
I think Waddle is going to bust out but I put him in my Top 5 just because of his physical traits and the fact he could be the second receiver off the board. Smith is the best receiver in the draft and I don't think I'd take any in the Top 5 but its a really good and deep group.
Tight Ends 1. Kyle Pitts 2. Pat Freiermuth 3. Tommy Tremble 4. Hunter Long 5. John Bates Sleeper: None , fuck em.
It's really Pitts and everyone else but I do really love Tremble and secretly hope the Packers take him with one of their 4th round picks (should he fall) - could also see him being an early Jets target given his game style and the fact he plays a lot like Jusycyk in space and with his blocking.
OT 1. Penei Sewell 2. Rashawd Slater 3. Teven Jenkins 4. Christian Darrisaw 5. Brady Christensen Sleeper: Brendan Jameis
Not a ton to say , I go fairly chalk and more about what I read on these guys as I just don't have it in me to every seek out offensive lineman highlights.
IOL 1. Alijah Vera-Tucker 2. Quinn Meinerz 3. Landon Dickerson 4. Kendrick Green 5. Creed Humphrey Sleeper: Robert Hainsey
Kind of like tackles , this is a lot more reading than watching but man this does seem like a deep IOL class. There's guys like Drew Dalman in the 5th probably who I think could start right away from his scouting reports.
Edge 1. Azeez Ojulari 2. Payton Turner 3. Boogie Basham 4. Jaelen Phillips 5. Kwity Paye Sleeper: Patrick Johnson
Interesting group overall. I don't think there is a standout for me amongst the top but I do think there is a ton of value in the end of the 1st and into the 2nd round.
Linemen 1. Christian Barmore 2. Bobby Brown III 3. Tommy Togiai 4. Osa Odighizuwa 5. Alim McNeil Sleeper: None really yet.
Bad group really. Barmore has the upside but I question how long it will take him to impact a defense. Had the Packers not been terrible last year in the draft and drafted smarter I would be totally okay with the Barmore pick. As it stands I think we are better off just waiting and taking big bodied athletes as late as possible.
Linebackers 1. JOK 2. Zaven Collins 3. Jamin Davis 4. Nick Bolton 5. Jabril Cox Sleeper: Baron Browning
A great group here , another one where I think you can find some raw pieces at any point in the draft and why I think Parson should fall (along with character).
Cornerbacks 1. Caleb Farley 2. Patrick Surtain II 3. Greg Newsome III 4. Jaycee Horn 5. Benjamin St. Juste Sleeper: Rachad Wildgoose
Great group , I really wish Farley all the health in the world because I think he's the best corner in the draft if healthy. I'd be okay with the Packers taking him , if he drops even if its only for one contract. He's the type of player that could be the missing piece. I would love any of these guys though.
Safety 1. Elijah Molden 2. Trevon Moehrig 3. Ar'Darius Washington 4. Damar Hamlin 5. Jamar Johnson Sleeper: Chris Brown

I feel bad for Fields, someone dug up his epilepsy, feels pretty shitty to bring that up. Good on him even addressing that and saying don't worry about that. The final week of the draft usually brings out the shit stirring on some of these kids and their biggest moment to make money, all to see if they can drop a little further for the said leaking team to nab him and make him their anointed QB for years to come.

His epilepsy shouldn’t be a concern from what I’ve read. His family outgrew it or something?
People making a big deal about his first read “issue” too are ridiculous. Trevor Lawrence ran RPO and screen game constantly as well.
Zaven Collins reportedly weighed in at 270+ yesterday. Don’t know if it was intentional or not but I have no idea where that puts him. Seems like a Patriot.
