I don’t hate on Mac Jones I think he is going be a good QB it’s the idea of trading multiple first rounders for Mac freaking Jones trading your draft capitals I rather target a guy who have upside and have elite traits which potentially do wonders for KS offense.

I love Aaron Rodgers but he needs to fucking chill. Yes the Packers fell short , yes the 2020 draft largely sucked but we were 6 points away from a Super Bowl and he has arguably the best season of his career. There is no reason to believe any of that can’t happen again and with a few good draft picks - possibly even better.

Also that Jimmy G. and #3 trade is insulting. Why even take Jimmy back? Just start love or draft Fields at #3.

There have been rumblings of the Packers trading Love for like the last month , never took them serious however trading him plus extending Rodgers might restore some goodwill.

Rodgers hasn’t requested a trade , just that he doesn’t want to return and has had extension talks. I think it’s more of a power play the more I read about it.

They should trade Love either way and extend Rodgers and move forward.

I think he probably listens to his wife on stuff outside football, who knows though. I don't know the guy. Not trying to say Rodgers is dumb or inept, just that I think he has someone else to have to talk to about these decisions.

Here's a few things two that contradict some of the reporting - Rodgers is smart enough to know that the Packers aren't trading him to the 49ers to play for a Super Bowl in the NFC.

If he were to get traded (I don't think he will) it would be to a lesser team , with a much worst supporting cast or draft capital to build around him.

The Raiders? They have no offensive line , no stud receivers and a far worse defense.

The Broncos have a good receiving corps , a questionable line and a good defense but would be totally hamstrung in the draft to do anything else to help him as they would have to send a shit ton of draft picks the Packers way. He makes them a playoff team for sure but I definitely wouldn't say it's a better situation than Green Bay.

Also reports from "anonymous" sources that the Packers told Rodgers they would trade him this offseason. No they didn't. They wouldn't do that. Every team in the NFL would have been calling all offseason and the Packers would have gaven Rodgers all the power in the situation.

A little annoyed at the timing of this by Rodgers camp too , and I do think doing it hours before the draft after the Packers dropped the Love pick on him one year ago.... but now no matter who the Packers draft gets overshadowed by everything and he doesn’t get his moment.

And we all know damn well that’s going to be the ONLY talking point when Green Bay is OTC.
