Super weird how the nightstick on a pole match gets so little build and only added at the last minute. It's almost like it seemed so obvious they just forgot.

What's the general consensus on Lance Cassidy a.k.a. Steve Armstrong? Feel like we always hear about Brian, Brad, and even Scott because of his refereeing. But what about Steve!? Lance Cassidy. Wow. Now there is an obscure name drop. All I remember about his brief WWF run is he used a flying clothesline for a finisher and may have had a friendly cowboy gimmick. I get my S. Armstrongs mixed up. The one who teamed with Tracy Smothers as the Southern Boys/Young Pistols was good. The other one was not. Let's find out which one the 2nd best L. Cassidy in WWF history was... Turns out he was the good one who teamed with Smothers.

Kilgore , whether or not Repo is wrestlecrap, Barry Darsow is absolutely underrated. Word on the street is Darsow refuses to be any other character other than Smash for any kind of booking.

This made me curious so I looked into it. All I could find is mention of Savage & Elizabeth getting divorced in late 1992. That may explain Savage's abrupt absence. No idea about The Genius though. My working theory is WWF decided they no longer needed to keep him around in order to placate Randy if he's not going to be around either.
