My friend mentioned buying the RSX ETF since it dropped from 25 to 5 in a couple days. This seems like a good opportunity but I don't know if I want to risk anything on it.

It is tough, but I do not see the western world letting Russia collapse completely. They just want the war to end. But let it collapse and the extreme right terrorists in that area of the world can start build up in a failed Russian state.

Trump and his cronies want the US to say the Russian invasion is a holocaust. I would assume a holocaust level event would justify stopping russia by any means necessary, but who knows with these people.

Well, Putin moved into the Trump phase of the war, and said that the strikes in Kiev are fake news according to the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Russia's polite way of saying "Hey, if these guys are still here after the ceasefire ends, we're bombing the fuck out of these Nazis and Rebels".

Yeah intel is saying that word that NATO will not enforce a no fly zone that Russia is gearing up to use bring in their bombers to carpet bomb cities. Likely Mariupol will be leveled since they can do it from sea.  Volnovakha will likely be the first city they carpet bomb.  Cease fire is just a way to move stuff into position and call for a surrender before they start to destroy entire cities.

So pretty much nothing short of using a nuke will have anyone interfere? ☠☠☠

At this point, Putin can nuke them and I expect NATO to still say it is best not to go in because we do not want to escalate the war or bring the war to Europe.

Interesting news.  AMMO, Inc wants to send a million bullets to the Ukraine, worth about 700k.  They got a plane ready and just are waiting for the US government to approve it.  Remmington Arms will match the donation if allowed.

AMMO, Inc's president was inspired to send ammo after Zelensky said he did not need a ride, he needed ammunition showing the power of the Ukraine propaganda.  

Curious if the US allows this or not.  While it seems like a great idea, private corporations openly supporting sides in armed conflicts is something that can backfire so fast, as US foreign policy of the CIA picking side to arm in the 70's and 80's showed very clearly.

Twitter had it and banned over 100 Russia troll farm accounts that trended the #Istandwithputin hashtag that the right wing of the US gladly retweeted themselves.

Zelensky is a bit hmm...I don't know......he's angry that NATO have not implemented a no-fly zone over Ukraine, despite NATO having no command over a nation that isn't apart of NATO.....Man is basically asking for WW3 to start.

He has been asking to join NATO for months though. Which NATO dodged because they do not want to be in the this conflict and will only take them when they no longer need security, which is kind of fucked up.

And yeah that cease fire is over already as Putin. Putin said Ukraine declared on war on them by speaking to the US.

Likewise, Putin said that sanctions are a declaration of war on Russia. This could get interesting.

Ukraine is starting to ask countries to only send them USEFUL weapons of war and not countries cold war garbage.  The Strela missiles Germany sent were missing the firing pins, have motors that have eroded to the point of making the missiles non-functional and in boxes so moldy that the Ukraine military advised no one to go near them without protective gear.    

Germany claims they are not defective, and still good to use though.  A military document however from 2014ish says the missiles are unsafe and should no longer be used, and requested their destructions.  Destroying them was denied due to the environmental hazards they would create so instead they just shipped them to the Ukraine.

Starlink terminals that Musk sent may be set for destruction. Ukraine asked him to block Russia state media from their country's internet and he refused saying he is pro-free speech and all news media is propaganda anyway.

Musk then went on to blame the Ukraine for delays in rolling out Starlink to people who pre-ordered it saying now he has to work on cyber defense & overcoming signal jamming as a result of supplying Ukraine with Starlink units, despite the fact that the Ukraine is unlikely to distribute any of these terminals. Furthermore, Ukraine military and state department cannot use them as the sat signals will allow geolocation of users, giving Russia a map where to strike. In areas where the communication networks have been cut off, the signals from these will be the only signals, showing Russia precisely where the resistance is if used. Musk advised users to keep the sats turned off, and have it set up as far away from them as possible, and camouflaged, then turn them on for short periods as needed.

So it is very likely these will go into a factory somewhere then possibly distribute them after the war, if they can get Russia to comply with the demands to block Russian state media. That whole use them to create wifi networks, not gonna happen.

I suspect we will find China's tech is not much better than Russias.  They are using mostly cold war style tech as well.  The concern with China is not that they have strong tech, they have enough people to simply overrun people with literal manpower.  Their military is 2.5 million people with another 1.5 million on standby.  This is more than all of NATO.

Speaking of milities though, Russia is supposed to have 2 million soldiers at ready, with 1 million more in reserve. Me thinking this war is clearly showing that is not the case at all. I mean, Putin sent in 10% of his military and is getting his ass kick. Logic would say the next move would be to send in another 10% to win this conflict. But he is not. He does not need .8 million active soldiers at home to defend Russia when he can call on a 2 million soldier reserve team, so where is his army?

Another interesting fact looking at numbers, the largest military in the world by sheer size, is Vietnam with with 500k active soldiers but a reserve army of 5 million and another 5 million paramilitary members.  No wonder the US got fucked when we tried to invade them.

Senate today set a red line limit that was bipartisan that the US will not engage in hostilities with Russia in the Ukraine. Which means NATO will not intervene and they are on their own. A nuke may revise things, but neither the GOP nor Dems care enough to get the US involved ourselves.

Exceptions are the Trumpers who are split 50/50 on supporting Putin and going to war with Putin.  

Creatively, I'm betting NATO hopes Ukraine breaks Russia and it destroys whatever is left of their mystic of being a superpower.

That is their exact goal. Most of NATO is on the opposite side of the world from China, so this would be the ideal situation for them.

I've often (also secretly myself) figured they were hoping the trash takes itself out eventually.
