Yanks trading away fan favorite Gio Urshela in a deal to get back one of the biggest pricks in baseball, Josh Donaldson is insane. Gary Sanchez needed a change of scenery and am curious who is our full time catcher but I guess Isiah Kifer Falefa makes sense as a defensive whiz SS.

Sad to see Sanchez go. My favorite Yankees player. I could see him having a monster season in a low market city.

Not a fan of hot heads like Donaldson. Such a distraction. Paying his contract in full what a horrible trade.

Never heard of Kiner-Falefa. Can't imagine it needed Urshela and Gary for Donaldson's contract to get a defensive shortstop.

Video released today of Vladdy not wearing a 1st baseman’s glove. Freeman is going to cost a billion dollars and I’m not sure the Jays will be able to offer him enough to beat out other teams. The only thing I could see enticing him is getting to play in Canada. He would be the biggest crowd favourite since Brett Lawrie.

It sounds like the Rays and the Dodgers are the favourites to get Freeman. I have no idea what the Yankees are doing if they let Tampa sign him - they have a huge need at 1B.

3B was Toronto’s most glaring weakness so this is great news. And everyone they gave up are players I’ve never heard of or forgot existed so that’s good.

Probably means no Freeman unless Vladdy becomes full time DH but whatever. I’m not going to complain.
