Good for Kyle Schwarber. Fuck Angel Hernandez. How does this fucking moron still have a job? Set an example, MLB, you cowards. streamable.com/00hetx

Angel Hernandez is why the MLB needs to have ability to challenge strike zone calls. Why they refuse to hold bad homeplate umping is beyond me.
My god. You can't even frame steal that as a catcher, how is that a strike?
I can't believe they had Hernandez call Sunday Night Baseball, you can at least get away with him during a Sunday daygame where half the league is playing at the same time. This is primetime however.

Amazing rally from the Mets tonight to beat the Cards. Down 2-0 on the final out, a good Arenado throw would have ended the game but he sailed it high and two runs scored, and then we added on three more to finish the job. 13-5, this team is good!
Scherzer with back to back 10 K starts. STL stealing Matz from under Cohen's nose was the best thing that could have ever happened.

I fucking love this Jays team man.
#SpringerDinger to tie it bottom of the 9th, sac fly wins it with the bases loaded in the 10th. They’re so fun to watch.

Buck Showalter sent orders after a lot of HBP for the Mets for Lopez to try and headhunt Arenado. Get that shit out of the game. Hitting someone is whatever, aiming for the head is garbage. Fuck that.

lol that's ridiculous Blindy. That pitch wouldn't have hit Arenado even if he hadn't moved, compare that to Alonso's reaction to getting hit in the head (for the second time this season mind you) yesterday was chalk and cheese. Arenado is still shitty that he cost them the game earlier in the series.

Arenado is still shitty that he cost them the game earlier in the series. The rule is you don't aim up high around head area, hit for the ass or back. Do whatever. If the pitcher wants to go do that, let him fight for himself. Pete Alonso getting tackled by some old coach was hilarious though.

Seventh straight series win to start the season for the Metropolitans - 10 runs on 15 hits tonight against the Phillies, didn't even need a home run.
Only downside to the Mets being good means more ESPN games with that horrible announce team.

Nah they do the Manningcast type thing which I haven't bothered to check out because I've only read bad things. Not sure who the regular commentators are, one of the colour guys sounds like Paul Wight - but like most ESPN crews they suck. Lindor was mic'ed up tonight and you could tell even he was getting sick of having to talk to them.

Mets cut Robinson Cano. I’ll always have love for that dude. Crazy thing is I won money on his only HR this season and I parlayed him with Sano because their last names rhyme. So he paid me well on his final stand in NY. Appreciate everything you did with the Yankees! Sucks you never really got going with the Mets.

Surprised you aren't a fan of David Cone, he's solid for YES Network and an ex Yankee and before that, ex Met! Think you are referring to Eduardo Perez with the deep voice. The worst commentator thus far in baseball has been Katie Nolan of AppleTV. Oh man. Have not witnessed her work this year but have heard a lot of really bad things. Her humor does not work for this type of audience who just want to not be bothered and watch the game. Yankees rolling, 9 straight. This upcoming series is the litmus test, @toronto. That streak is ending but a matter of when? If the Yanks take 2/3, lets go. What is massive is a couple of Yanks weren't vaccinated going into the season which under Canada law, makes them ineligible(Fair play after TOR was playing in Tampa Bay for more than half the year in 2021).

The two steroid busts did him in, that and he's nowhere near the second basemen defensively he once was due to age. Mets got lucky the M's have seen Kelenic falter and Justin Dunn is now in the Reds organization, this had disaster written all over it. Question is....is Edwin Diaz worth the sunken contract cost of Cano? That's what it has become now, barring Dunn or Kelenic turning into something.

The best ESPN Sunday Night crew was Joe Morgan and Jon Miller. It's not even close. Absolute nose dive ever since.

Yanks with another dub against a good Jays team.
The Yanks rotation has massively overperformed on the year. Cole after a nightmare start vs Detroit has finally began to pitch like the 300+ million dollar pitcher he was brought to do, Nestor Cortes even with mid to late 80's MPH is so damn good with his movement and control, Severino is up and down but when he's on, he's really on. Taillon can get you to the 6th inning while keeping the team in the game and Montgomery has been really good, he's been a heck of a no.2 even if I think he's more so a mid rotation type of guy. That's really the difference here, the offense has run hot and cold for the most part but the pitching and bullpen have been up to snuff.
Massive credit to pitching coach Matt Blake, he's more of a sabermetrics and stats type of guy which is a far cry from what we usually have had in the past with the more old school sort of pitching coach. He's hitting all the right buttons thus far.

God I really find it tough to cheer on Josh Donaldson. I don't even think I can do it. Joking about skin color is sort of one of those grey areas, especially if the other person isn't in on the joke.

There’s a reason Blue Jays fans don’t miss him and weren’t even upset when he didn’t stay in Toronto. Dude is a prick. … Caught a good chunk of the Jays game on my layover today. Bo Bichette beating the Reds single-handedly was fun to watch.

Mets are doing it a little bit tougher lately with Scherzer and Megill on the IR, they called a kid up from AAA and he got absolutely annihilated by the Giants. Continuing to go around .500 during a tough stretch of the schedule and missing some key guys is more than good enough at this stage though with the rest of the AL East in a pretty woeful state. Hopefully we get Mad Max and deGOAT back in July.

Josh Donaldson sounds like a jerk but that doesn't make him a racist. Tim Anderson has referred to himself as the new Jackie Robinson, laughable to me. To my understanding, Jackie was a serious player, not about bringing fun to the game. Making his comparison stupid.

Just found out what Castellini said a month ago to Reds fandom over our frustrations with the team for the past two decades: "Where you going to go?" Not to the games anymore until your gone, you fucking clown prince of nepotism and killer of innocence. Basically went on to suggest he could move the team away if he wanted to. Fuck Phil Castellini. In other news, I missed out on 20 runs yesterday....against the fucking Cubbies... Fuuuck. -_- God I really find it tough to cheer on Josh Donaldson. I don't even think I can do it. Joking about skin color is sort of one of those grey areas, especially if the other person isn't in on the joke. Bo Bichette beating the Reds single-handedly was fun to watch. I watched that game as well. Bo is amazing, and he's got that sunshine hair to boot. Jays look they're heading in the right direction. Cap'n Canuck hitting a homer in his homeland was one of the only enjoyable takeaways as a Reds fan.
