THEN have Kroft a TE trying to block Hassan Riddick one on one is a bad idea and Shanahan should know this! Of course we all know what happen which lead up to Brock’s injury. I am done with Kyle Shanahan but he won’t get fired this year very likely Niners get another new DC because DR will find a head coaching gig very likely and well deserve. 

49ers will probably never win another super bowl as long Kyle Shanahan is still the head coach for the Niners.

Moore to the Chargers is a little scary, though I still think Herbert is part of the reason why they played for 3rd and 1 last year. Maybe Moore can coach it out of him.

Why wouldn't Indy just go after Mike Kafka at that point over Bienemy if you want to dig deep into the Chiefs offense mojo?

DEN and IND are going to be wildcards, I can see Philly getting Steichen & Gannon poached by them. Arizona seems like a dark cloud, no idea what they are doing. Do they really go for Vance Joseph or do they try and get someone who can maintain Kyler Murray?

I don’t know a lot about the Ryans/Texans history but it looks like it could be happening. You never know how these things will work out, but it would be the most positive Texans development since the Watson Wildcard round play against the Bills.

Well I’d hope that the considerable edge in experience and results in the offensive coordinator spot would give Bienemy an edge, but there are certain racial considerations that tend to govern these selections which might put Kafka higher on the board.

Saints about to get back in the 1st round most likely @theshow . Russell Wilson was practically speaking with Payton for weeks to try and get him on board. 

Look like Sean Payton will be the next Broncos head coach.

I’m just glad that it’s over with. I’m ready to move on from the Sean Payton era and start new. Even if that means we suck for a few years. I hope he takes Pete Carmichael with him.

I’m happy with the compensation we received in return. Probably too late in the first round to get a top QB but they have other positions of need to fill.

I’m waiting for us to cut Michael Thomas so he can sign with the Broncos and never miss a game again.

Every time I hire my former players as coaches in Madden 2005 franchise mode 30 year simulation it just never works out, always 8-8 at best.

Man without pulling up his stat sheet I can't really remember much about Demeco. He came along during a period I just don't look back at with the rose colored glasses like I did during the 2002-2004 years, I want to say he was one of the top picks in 2006? And he was gone by the 2011 playoff season or was on that team? All I can honestly remember about the guy was him suing the team over the grass pallets that kept getting everybody hurt.

I'm 50/50 on it really, I liked what Lovie Smith was able to do with absolutely nobody there in the last few games against Dallas, KC, Tennessee, those were supposed to be 63-3, 55-10 level blowouts. I'm not sure Demeco is much more of an improvement? 

But I'm open minded to it I like that he played here and was drafted here, that's cool. Lets see how it goes. 

Reports now that Brock Purdy have to get a Tommy John surgery he will be definitely out for next season.

Trey Lance stated he should be clear for the OTAS and training camp but either way Niners need a back up QB I wouldn’t be surprise they bring Jimmy back for being QB2 if not maybe Matt Ryan since he is familiar with KS.

Unless Tom Brady change his mind and be the Niners QB1 for one season 😒

Insane compensation for Payton too. I mean what makes him so special that he should fetch a 1st and 2nd round pick? He’s had plenty of shortcomings in the league through the years.

Making 17-20 mill per year as well, that makes Jon Gruden's contract look like chump change from a AAY perspective. 

I don't think a first-round pick is much to pay at all for a proven elite head coach, and the only reason people would be thinking it is are overly influenced by the rarity of coach trades. Essentially they got one of the best offensive minds in the league in exchange for Bradley Chubb - you're making that trade 10 times out of 10. They needed someone to fix the Wilson situation and Payton is clearly the best candidate for the job, he was able to reach an NFC Championship Game with a washed Drew Brees and made Jameis Winston look like a functional QB.
