You can't take anything LeSean McCoy says about Bieniemy seriously because he is so obviously butthurt about being benched during the playoffs that year. The idea than the offensive coordinator wouldn't have anything to do with the passing offence is completely stupid. I'll take the things that Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Adrian Peterson and Jamaal Charles have said about his influence on their careers.

JJ Redick does First Take as a guest with Stephen A Smith and Shannon Sharpe is with Skip Bayless, sometimes you get stuck with somebody on the show that you know more information on the respective sport than but aren't as big of a personality as they are. I'm sure FOX Sports probably tells Acho to ham up the Justin Herbert hatred like what Skip Bayless does with LeBron James anyhow. 

Matt Nagy had the same respect of Mahomes & Kelce IIRC and he bombed in Chicago and was too stubborn to utilize Justin Fields in a way that caters to his strengths. He went down with his system over trying to go beyond it and play to the strengths of his QB and talent on offense. Doug Pederson thus far has been the lone real success to come out of the Andy Reid offense room and be was pre Patrick Mahomes era. 

There is also this stuff, if it was a one off I understand but there's too much of this even if this goes decades back. In today's woke culture, it's a tough sell which is why I get the trepidation.

I've yet to see Jason Whitlock's(Ex KC writer) take on this and even though I don't agree with him quite much on anything, I saw him say something in a recent article as to why Eric Bieniemy wasn't hired.

For as bad as the Nagy time was, he left Chicago with a winning record and Pederson has a winning record and a Super Bowl. Neither had to wait to get jobs or take second jobs to prove that their success wasn’t because of Andy Reid. And I don’t think that Nagy had the Mahomes rub, the only OC that has coached Pat Mahomes for more than a game is Eric Bienemy. I do frequently blame them both for why this has taken so long for EB, but now Pederson seems to get a lot of love for the work in Jacksonville and though Nagy was bad it’s hard to say his tenure with only one losing season in four years was an abject failure.

But I don’t think @admin was saying that he’d take Mahomes word on him being good (though that’s certainly worth more than Lesean’s McCoy’s take), but that he’d take his word on how involved he was in the passing game.

But hey, 20+ years ago he had some possible legal trouble. Definitely not head coach material.

Also, Jason Whitlock is a headline chasing hack. No one should ever take his opinion as anything more than a comedy piece.

I can see where Shady's gripe is if his 2 fumbles was the reason he fell into the doghouse considering how much of a leash Edwards Helaire was getting despite his issues with fumbling. CEH was also picked over Taylor and a couple of other players so how much of that is on Bieniemy given RBs are his bread & butter spot as a coach.

Reiterating it isn't even just fumbles but ineffectiveness as a whole. I think their opinions matter as much as anybody else's and aren't purely 'Sour Grapes'. 

He's coached multiple all-pros but sure the one guy that didn't work out means he sucks as a coach. :lol:

We’ve replied with what people who worked with him considerably longer and had less questionable motives have said and you didn’t accept that.

You’ve made up fumble issues for CEH.

You made up how Mahomes recommendation got Matt Nagy a job.

My main point is it isn't sour grapes with how McCoy was listing as to why he doesn't think much of Bienemy as a signal caller. He is legitimately mentioning how much pull he had as the signal caller despite Andy Reid being there. He is questioning how much of an influence he had towards the passing game. 

These are questions for Washington that we will get an answer to this upcoming season so this will be debunked or further noted this year.

Yeah we're off to a great start here...

McCarthy might not be wrong. That Zeke/Pollard ground and pound was unstoppable. Yeah it’s nice watching Ceedee make big plays and Schultz looking like Witten 2.0, but that shit don’t win playoff games. Dak ain’t that guy. Those interceptions are too costly.

Then again, Dallas might not have Zeke or Pollard going into this season. Ay ya never know.
