I don't get the tariffs on Canada either. The EU, Russia, and China sure, but if any country should be exempt from US tariffs it's Canada.

I saw a fantastic theory the other day. To summarize: Trump’s past experience as a conman taught him that every deal comes with a winner or a loser. If the other party is even remotely satisfied, then he didn’t screw them enough. He’s taken the same winner-take-all approach to the White House that anything that’s remotely beneficial for an ally means the US is losing. And we know he’s only about #winning. *sigh*
