Also we all know that Dennis Rodman deserves the Nobel Peace Prize so just stop it with that nonsense. Amen. Rodman deserves all the praise

Another case of WhatAboutIsm, saying Obama did something bad, doesn't excuse Trump from his own bad behaviour.

lol this is hilarious. All the shit Trump does and your argument is "OBAMA WASN'T PERFECT!" come on. Big difference between "wasn't perfect" and "wipes his ass with the first amendment". For all the shit Trump gives the media he hasn't done ANYTHING nearly this bad concerning them. Plus Trump is actually called out by the press for the bad shit he does. Obama on the other hand had his ass kissed by the press more than any other president except possibly JFK.

Bro. If every President were held accountable for withholding info from journalists there would never be a President.
I'm not saying it's right, but it's also not a valid argument against all the shit Trump has done.
And as far as I know, Trump is still ignoring the fact he was found in violation of the first amendment by a judge for blocking people on twitter.

If you complain about Obama’s getting it (which I do, what a stupid award that looks like in retrospect) then there’s not much defense of Trump getting it. As of right now sure. But if NK actually denuclearizes Trump will have a legit case. Which no one actually thinks they’ll do.

He's already said he has the power to pardon himself.....which I'm sure he will do at the drop of a dime.

Last I checked Twitter isn't owned by the government and Twitter allows people to block persons from their account for practically any reason......
This seems like a HUGE overstep of the judge's authority. Which has been a common theme of Trump term so far as MANY court rulings that overstepped their bounds have been overturned.
And I'm still trying to figure how judges can rule Trump does not have the authority to overturn DACA by executive order when Obama passed it by executive order in the first damn place.

PATHETIC display by Trump in Helsinki. At one point I was wondering if he was going to break out the kneepads for Putin. Not even OBAMA ever looked this weak on an international stage. Trump was voted in office to put America FIRST in foreign affairs, not to kowtow to others heads of state.
You can say it's part of grander strategy all you want, this was NOT a good look for America. Trump completely shit the bed this time around. I hope to GOD the negotiations behind the scenes are going better than this.

A recession is on the horizon and the tariffs are about to hit wallets. He’s a selfish cluster fuck dumpster fire and always has been.

I know it sounds hyperbolic to say every word out of the President's mouth is treasonous, but every word out of the President's mouth is treasonous. It gets said a lot, but imagine if Obama had done one-tenth of the things Donald Trump has done so far in his presidency. The cuckservative snowflakes would be rioting in the streets. Sean Hannity would have killed himself on air. Fuck, all Obama had to do was BE BLACK for shitdicks to start burning him in effigy, imagine the reaction to him colluding with an enemy, attacking our allies, and fist-bumping a brutal dictator. AND THAT'S ALL JUST THIS WEEK.

I can honestly and truly say that I'm embarrassed to be an American. That was one of the most appalling scenes from any US President. He bent over and sold out his own country for Vladimir Putin. What a disgrace.

(Also it doesn’t just sound hyperbolic, it is hyperbolic and helps no one to call what the president did “treason”. When you engage in hyperbole, you’re easier to dismiss out of hand, which is part of the problem with ninety percent of the internet’s anger at Trump)

I think the most amazing thing about yesterday is that so many people seem surprised. I'm not sure how anyone could have expected anything but what happened yesterday.
This is just further confirmation of what everyone should already know: Trump is in Russia's pocket and doesn't give a fuck what happens to anyone but himself. I would have been shocked if anything but what happened yesterday happened.

Yeah I was a little surprised by the reaction to him saying exactly the same thing about Russia that he’s said since the debates in 2016.

I can't believe how hysterical this week has been in politics. The US really loves a boogie man, in the form of Russia.
Russia is a superpower with their own agenda, the US interferes in elections the world over... The hypocrisy is staggering. Trump was always going to deny, as mikec said, it's been his line since forever, his ego wouldn't allow him to change the narrative to anything other than him winning the election. The most overlooked and ineffectual part of the narrative is the idea that Russian interference changed the outcome of the election... It didn't. I don't understand McCain coming out so strong, when it hurts his party.
Putin and Trump are both total assholes, but probably the first leaders in history to not make themselves out to be Mother Teresa while doing horrendous things. The US is EVERY BIT as bloody, deceitful and violent as Putin's Russia, but doesn't have the stomach for looking in the mirror. Trump is the ugly face without the smooth mask of an Obama or ol' Bill to cover the truth.
I will also add that my country is selfish and inhumane... Most countries are, because most people at the end of the day choose themselves over the stranger.

While I am on my rant, can someone please explain to me how killing someone in a foreign country is terrible if you poison them, but great if you use a drone? Is it: a: Okay if the dead people are brown b: Okay if the country you killed the people in is inhabited by brown people c: Okay because we didn't like their politics or religion

Drone strikes and killing journalists for speaking out don’t have a clear history of being the same with similar motivations. I don’t support either... but they’re not.

Two months of leaked emails that dominated the news about the Hillary camp, including emails that further alienated Bernie supporters who voted Stein. It drowned out messaging, it dominated social media, etc. in a race that came down to a very small number of votes in a few states. Were the emails as impactful as Comey publicly reopening a dead issue for no reason? No, probably not. But you’re being too definitive about a subject without certainty.

I think it is EXACTLY the same due to the use of one word in your answer "CONSPIRING" this is the killing of someone for what you "think they were thinking of doing" rather than what they had already done. You are killing for an idea not for an action and that is where the US loses its credibility on the topic.

Were the emails as impactful as Comey publicly reopening a dead issue for no reason? No, probably not. But you’re being too definitive about a subject without certainty. So it is a question of who released the information or what the information was? This is a very strange topic, because if an American hacked Hillary's private server then gave the information to the NY Times, they would be hailed as hero's at best and a misguided patriot like Bradley Manning at the worst. If you chart Hillary's approval rating I think you will find that the releases did very little other than re-enforce the views people already had. You know way more about politics than I do, but I don't believe at the end of the day the election was a close thing. It's more a reflection on ineffective polling than the fact everyone changed their mind the morning of the election.

The exhausting narrative allowed a singular focus on Hillary, whereas the amount of shit Trump did never had the ability to snowball because it was always something new.
There are marketing theories that it takes 7+ times to hear something before you recall it (some say 20+). This is a textbook example of that. A single issue (that was outdated and addressed) was the only thing that really carried through for her.
