pduh 49ers are interested in Jets defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich to take over but Jets don't want to lose Ulbrich to the same position without draft compensation. I hope he stays, he's been awesome for NYJ and think he does more for the defense than what Saleh does.

If SF gets Ulbrich, that's a huge loss for the Jets and a great coup for SF. Hope it doesn't happen.

Chiefs have decided to tag L’Jarius Sneed while giving him the option to seek a trade or negotiate a deal. Not sure what he will draw, I’d guess a second and a day three pick.

Mecole Hardman trashing Boyer and the Jets on a podcast today is pretty lame even if I agree he never really got much of a chance. He did confirm it was Rodgers running the show and once he went down, the Jets had no alternative plan. You don't need to be inside the building to see what's going on. You sign Hardman to that 1 year deal and he never got a chance, he was meant to supplement Elijah "Give me the ball" Moore but got phased out for Xavier Gipson. Him not wanting to take punts when asked is weak so I get why he didn't get to play after opting not to take punts vs the Chiefs. 

Hardman admitting while he was under contract with NYJ that he was talking with both Veech & Mahomes is pretty weak and for the former's case, tampering but I bet Joe Douglas gave Hardman & his agent permission to seek a trade so there's the out.

I was seeing the tampering talk yesterday, I’m not sure Mecole actually implicated anyone but himself. He told Veach “come get me”, that implies they had a conversation, but honestly that message could’ve been sent any which way that Veach didn’t necessarily engage with.

He got paid the money and got traded to the team he got the opportunity to catch. He could have been held out for the rest of the year or traded to Arizona or whatever, he should be grateful he got a gift to go back to KC. He had me until this interview, thought he handled this all decently until this sudden tell all. 

He did get beat out by a UDFA Rookie FA and opted to kick rocks. 

Hardman even said the Jets did by him right but then just decided to go rogue. I appreciate the honesty as the coaching staff needs more wake up calls & reality checks but to just air this out on a podcast is always weak.

Jettas is being rumored on the internet to be traded to KC. Give Mahomes his Randy Moss.

I HIGHLY doubt it as the Chiefs don’t seem like the team to do that. However, Jettas is a lot younger than Cheetah was and Kelce is getting older and closer to retirement. Locking in Chris Jones is still the top priority IMO but if you can somehow get Jettas…. boy oh boy I might cum on my cell phone screen unprotected.

Multiple players accusing Hardman of leaking the Jets gameplan to the Eagles, he was traded a few days later after this. Probably forced his way out due to this.

I couldn’t think of a more advantageous position to be in for a defense. Just goes to show how bad their defense and coaching really was.

The way Packers great Nate Hackett gameplanned games during the week, you're absolutely correct. Eagles got smacked in the trenches this game too despite "knowing the gameplan". Supposedly according to Jets insider/beat writer Connor Hughes, the belief is Hardman supplied the Chiefs the Jets gameplan too which is hilarious given Zach Wilson had his best game as a pro vs them here.

Again I asked this question on Twitter but how does Miles Austin & Calvin Ridley lose a year's worth of pay/their career for ruining the integrity of the game yet Mecole Hardman if this is proven to be true isn't slapped with anything? Does the latter not ruin the integrity of the game where a player already signed is giving out gameplan, secrets, intel etc. to the opposition? Nevermind that teams have to be weary of a player like this but it's amazing how happy I was that Hardman got the moment(Albeit I was more happy the Jets looked foolish to have Randall Cobb get reps over Hardman) in the SB to now all of this baggage coming out. If proven true and this is the biggest if, it's absolutely scumbag worthy.

The Jets were down a bunch of lineman at this point IIRC but I meant altogether the Eagles got whooped in the trenches. Hurts also had a terrible game with some rotten turnovers. 

Both defensive lines had a field day.

Either way. Eagles should be ashamed.

The sad part about this is the biggest offseason storyline for the Jets is Mecole Hardman. A player who isn’t even on their team anymore not really impacted their team. A player who caught the game winning TD in the Super Bowl. Therefore, a Super Bowl champion.
