It was way overdue. WWE will be much better off.

I would listen to an argument that Stephanie and Shane still being there would be fine, but honestly there's too much of Vince in both of them that I don't feel like things would progress as much as they will without them there. And you can make that argument about Triple H too but I think he has proven himself as far as creative goes. It almost feels like he flourished in NXT because Vince didn't give a shit about it and he knew that, and just had to bide his time.

It is Triple H's company now and he has more than proven he's a damn good. The business under Hunter over the last 18 months now has been the hottest it's been in almost 20 years. NXT, particularly the black and white Takeover era prior was, the best thing in wrestling.

I'd be ok with Stephanie, as she is a great media personality. She's on the board of two non-profits and a hospital.. so naturally, you'd expect her to play in that role perfectly for WWE via Conor's Cure, WWE educational programs, etc.

Shane to me is like that rich kid that moved away, who randomly shows up to his rich parents house once every 5 years with " I wanna jump off buildings and wrestle alligators! This my dream Dad... and I also need a new Corvette.. " and just pisses off the help with his attitude.

Honestly, HHH running WWE was the best possible outcome we could have hoped for post Vince. What made him an insufferable wrestler, makes him a fantastic leader and booker. Dude is obsessed with wrestling and NEEDS to be the best. That is who you want to be driving things. Also he entirely gets the restrictions needed for the commercial side of things and has no issue working within them. He is totally fine with a tame product, whereas most bookers just have to try to be subversive.

Also HHH did it all himself, so people respect him. Sure Steph and Shane did matches too, but HHH grinded his way up through a lame ass gimmick and shitty angles. Guys can connect with that shit better than with people who grew up rich and got to work with top stars from the start.

HHH grew up rich too. He was a blue blood snob from Greenwich!!!

From what I read it sounds like they were aware that there was a relationship between the victim and McMahon (maybe not that it wasn't consensual) and how she got her job, but that they weren't necessarily in agreement with it. At least not Nick Khan. It didn't say much about Stephanie.

Which is why most probably kept their mouth shut over the years. Not that it's right, but when you have a megalomaniac like McMahon holding the fate of your career and how you feed your family in his hands, you might look away.
