Trump's sole options left may be to part with most of his liquid assets, or to get Truth Social later this week to allow him to liquid his stake.

The anger that one got was unreal.  Conservatives clearly are not prepared for Dems that fight back.  And many believe this is actually the best way to defeat Trump.  He runs on strength and if Dems are afraid to attack him, he proves his point.  Not the best look for US politic, but it is clear Trump will never make a race about the politics, so it Dems need to meet him where he is, rather than running a different race like Hillary did.  He wants the race about personal merits, then we need to do it.

Fun debate in Georgia right now. They have an anti-trans bill being debated. Part of the ban will force gym classes now to be segregated by gender, because it outlaws intergender sports activities. Even for 6 to 12 year olds.

Looks like the future for most of the US, either canceling gym classes, or entirely splitting them into male and female classes because the two genders will not be able to play together under anti-trans laws since they have already moved beyond competitive sports.

Comer in his fundraising letter said he is ending the Biden impeachment probe. Will prepare criminal referrals to the DoJ to review. Which is another way of saying we will make this quietly go away without admitting we had nothing. Dems may still try to force a vote on the matter as several do not believe they can get even a simple majority and do not want this to appear again closer to the election.  A vote for called for last hearing but Comer shut it down saying it was not the proper time.

I won't defend that, documents like the constitution being treated as sacred is highly wrong in my view.

California courts recommended disbarment for John Eastman, Trump's main lawyer for the 2020 election stuff. Follow the case against Rudy who also was disbarred for his illegal defense of Trump.  Jenna Ellis and Sidney Powell still facing disbarment themselves for their roles in Georgia election interference.  Both have pled guilty before people scream about how they were innocent like Trump.

Fight forming up around the weight loss diabetes medications in the US now in regards to price. Breaks down like this. The shots cost a dollar to produce. In India they sell for $50. In Canada about $100. In the US $1000. If the company is allowed to charge whatever they want, then the US taxpayer needs to be prepared to see their taxes increase to pay these companies the 1000% mark ups for the US market, whether they use the drugs or not.

Bernie drawing the line in the sand now, if not this drug, then the next drug that is widely prescribed will be the basis of a fight over how much the US taxpayer should pay for corporate profit.  And for many, corporate profit of a drug they paid for the research and development of, that they also DO NOT actually use themselves.

Seeing results from the anti-college and anti-science movements in the US. Post-doc applications are dropping now in the US. Almost every major scientific breakthrough in the US was done by a postdoc researcher. Their jobs are entirely to lead a university lab. These disappear, US science declines as well.

One way to see US education, is to funnel the best students from undergraduate studies, to graduate studies, to PhD studies to postdoc studies then to industry or leading departments themselves. At least level more and more drop out, so need a large number at the start to prevent the stream from drying up before the end.

While everyone believes if they work hard they have what it takes to get to the end, that is just not the case at all in practice and none of the people who do not make it, know at that start they are just not fit for this kind of work.

We could get into some of the pagan origins of Easter and also talk about fertility rituals etc. but Easter is one of the holiest days in the Christian calendar.

I really don't understand why the white house would make Easter Sunday the Transgender day of visibility. There are plenty of Democrat Christians and this feels like a huge own goal.

It’s been March 31 for years. Easter won’t be on March 31st again until 2086, so you’ll be safe for a while.
