It's no KING KID calling the Electoral College vote, BUT back when Elon bought Twitter in October 2022, I wrote something like "if the right is allowed to speak freely, the right will win." So I'm giving myself the ol' Barry Horowitz pat on the back for that one. ========== Also, I can't be the only one popping for all these Grover Cleveland mentions, can I?

I’ve been keeping up with everyone’s reactions on Twitter because that’s where I post the most as well, and god damn A LOT of people got racist. So many democrats are blaming blacks, latinos, and arabs and saying they are stupid and deserve to die/get deported just for voting for Trump. JFC??? That’s the main reason they voted for Trump tbh, because at least the right are open about their feelings/opinions about everyone. The left will love you until it no longer suits them 😳🤦🏻♀️ This happen to me today while I was at the store and these people said it was my fault that Trump won. All I could say was,"Aye I just want some Tri-Tip".

KJ , What do you with the Democratic Party now? Surely a red tsunami has to give them the idea that it’s time to reset. How do you reset though with the loudest people in the party being race baiters like Hakeem Jeffries, AOC and Talib. How do you get past their noise and allegiance to hating Jewish people and try and get Shapiro in? I’d be far less surprised if he switched to Republican than being selected as the next man up for the Democrats. If they’re really going for the “get younger” role, who? I just don’t see a near future where the Democrats win back the voters they lost UNLESS Trump fucks up exponentially in these next four years which is highly unlikely with the people he has by his side. Mainly former democrats like Musk, RFK and Tulsi. Say what you want, but I think sooner or later Bezos is going to join Trumps side and it wouldn’t surprise me if Zuckerberg does as well after being co main event vs Elon Musk on a Jake Paul card. Sounds crazy, but very possible. Honestly? I don't know what the Democratic Party will do. I've spent the entire day arguing with every liberal friend I have that anger needs to be directed at the Dems and not at the people that voted for Trump. I'm reminded of my favorite quote from "The Newsroom": I've said it multiple times here, but the Dems failure to build a bench after Obama is an absolute travesty. It wasn't a really primary in 2016 -- they stacked the deck for Hillary. Biden was the only choice within the party would support in 2020. And they literally installed Kamala, despite the fact she was a) the most unpopular VP in a long time and b) absolutely failed as a primary candidate in 2019-20. They basically told the entire country "hey, we'll keep the course." The Dems used to be the party of change. Trump's GOP is now the party of change. I may not like all the change he represents, but I think for the people that have ping-ponged from Obama to Trump to Biden to Trump (again), they want something that will shift in America that has gone off the rails. Do I think he'll fail? Well, no one that lives here should root for it. Trump's failure is our failure. I still hold what I feel are very serious concerns he'll erode the fabric of democracy from the inside, and nothing anyone can say will make me feel better. I'll only feel better at the end of his term if everything is still in-place. Now ... what would I do if I had control of the DNC and could re-write their focus heading into 2028? - Stop Supporting Losing Initiatives. Specifically, stop trying to make people believe things like "trans athletes should compete in women's sports" or vilifying men/whites. None of these are going to win you an election -- you'll only lose because of them -- and most of the time (particular the trans issue), they're just flat-out fucking crazy. The Dems love to build monoliths and absolutes vs. bringing any sense of nuance to the world.
- Stop Illegal Immigration. Stand against illegal immigration, while making the process of legal immigration less bureaucratic and cumbersome. This is why "America First" messaging works so well for MAGA.
- Speaking of the Trans Issue ... Let's leave the fucking drag queens out of libraries and schools. Please? And maybe put a ban on allowing children at Pride? Call your friends in the media and stop wedging the trans agenda into pre-school programs? Just stop. You're literally letting mental illness dictate - and control - how people think and behave.
- Let DEI Fucking DIE. It doesn't work. It eliminates meritocracy. Women are paid $0.99 on the dollar to men when it's actually normalized vs. the total income. Yeah, a real travesty we should build entire campaigns on. Let private entities - through charities, scholarship grants, etc. - focus on lifting up minorities when they need it.
- Make Education a Central Priority ... With a Catch. Do I think "Critical Race Theory" was an overblown boogeyman by the right? Absolutely. But CRT isn't needed as an overlay to the entirety of the education system and how we approach conversations; it should be an elective course students can participate in at the highest-levels of education of High School. That said, Sam Seaborn ("The West Wing") said it best: "Education is everything. We don't need little changes, we need gigantic, monumental changes. Schools should be palaces. The competition for the best teachers should be fierce." That should be our commitment as a party.
- Move On from Abortion. If this was a needle-mover of an issue, we would've won. Running a campaign on "women's reproductive rights" that is "for our daughters and wives *sobs uncontrollably*" in 2028 will just continue the trend.
- Get a New Media Strategy. Trump campaign was everywhere. Trump, to his credit, sat down for long podcasts with trendy personalities. But the GOP also had a targeted campaign of direct mail. The Dems have been re-running the same digital media playbook that got Obama elected in 2008. It was groundbreaking then; now anyone with a Facebook account can buy digital ads. Evolve or die.
- (Try to) Work with Trump. For the first time since W., it would be amazing to see the two parties actually try and help America together. Now, that doesn't mean blindly support everything he does. But if you come to the table trying to work today, something good might just happen. I have little confidence this will happen (for either side), as I fully expect the right to do everything they can to ram their agenda through. They won; that's the fruits of their labor.
- Win with the Working Class Again. I fully believe the Dems economic platforms are better for the working class (and Trump's are going to actually fuck this country), but if we don't find a way to articulate the impact beyond how it benefits minorities, we're going to continue losing. Which leads to my final point ...
- Speak to Young Male Voters. I'll copy/paste a text I sent my friend today on why the Dems lost the Gen Z male voters. He vehemently disagreed, and I think it's foolish and narrow-minded to not see that Trump was actively engaging and reaching out them.
Note: I referenced my autistic son in an earlier text, hence the reference to "neurodivergent" ... I was referencing that he and my older son have been "corrected" multiple times for rough housing at recess. Literally just two boys -- and their friends -- wrestling around, laughing the entire time.Unfortunately, I don't think any of this will happen ... even though almost every single one of these issues could be an Obama stump speech 12 years ago. I believe in liberal principles. But the Democrats have lost touch with what those are, and they've taken "progressive" to a point that anything society deems unacceptable means it's marginalized ... and therefore needs saving. Fuck that. Some things should be unacceptable and they deserve to be marginalized.

KJ for DNC Chair. Really agree with this. When I was in college in 2008, the sociology texts referred to this as 'rough and tumble play'. So what do the texts say sixteen years later? ... It's an important part of a kid developing his "fight" vs. flight response. Even though it's just play, whatever neurochemical cocktail we've had conditioned as a response to stress shows up just the same in adulthood. A child with a flight response will be an adult with a flight response ... "Fight" almost always isn't going to mean physical altercation for an adult, but it very often will mean standing up for oneself under varying degrees of duress. And now, of course, the young adults at Georgetown are drinking their milk and eating their cookies because Trumpy-chan is going back to the White House.

I also think the fact they don’t form bonds (how many of us have a story where we met a close, if not our best, friend in a fight?) is also a huge driver in the male loneliness epidemic.

If you didn't meet your friend in a fight, you were just fighting your friends, probably. I've always said this; when I was a kid, we called each other the worst names in the book; when we ran out of those, we made up our own; when we ran out of creativity, we just beat each other up. None of it was malicious; it was, in fact, a part of bonding. 🤷♂️
"Rough and tumble play" is probably a sublimation of a lot of natural biological impulses; if those impulses are not being sublimated here, where are they are--if at all--and what happens to the kid? Some of us have really attempted to short-circuit just about our entire history of evolution. 😂 ... It's not a great agenda, and maybe it falls under some vector adjacent to political correctness in today's progressive ideology.

KJ I agree with everything you said you would do with the DNC especially because it’s literally the Donald Trump plan. You literally just admitted you love Project Trump. Millions of Americans saw what you see negatively about the Dems too and said “fuck this, I don’t got time for this shit anymore, I have a family” and voted for Trump. You stayed loyal to the Democrats even though your morals and beliefs are closer to Trump 2024 then they are to Kamala 2024. And all those issues you have with the DNC, I have too and honestly always assumed you had too. That’s why I was stunned when you came out as a Democrat supporter initially in this thread.

If you didn't meet your friend in a fight, you were just fighting your friends, This is where I fall. And it was usually just horseplay. But the few real fights I got into during my life were with my friends (or brother). They'd be my sworn enemy for an hour or two. Then it would be water under the bridge as we went outside to play, fired up a video game, or something along those lines.

We had it out, got called to the principal's office, and by the time he walked out, we were laughing and joking in the waiting area.

I don't think you actually read more than the bold points. It's literally not Trump's plan, specifically the economic ones. The Dems don't know how to communicate their policy effectively, but it's absolutely better. I also vehemently disagree with his education plan and would instill MORE power in the government (just not CRT). I also fully believe he's going to erode Democracy from the inside and will be an absolute catastrophe in the ongoing global conflicts. So no. I'm not Project Trump. I should note the key overlap on Immigration and DEI/Trans issues are things I've been saying I disagree with the Dems on for months.

Allow me to join NATH45 and KING KID in putting over KJ's very sensible DNC post. A saner Democrat party could certainly earn my vote. I've voted Dem before! Many times, in fact, for local county/state positions.

We say it how we see it and all your dislikes for the Dems are the same as yours. Adapt or be left behind. The left is not going to change who they are. This is who they are. That’s why the working class has left them behind. If you want to sink in the sinking ship with them, that’s on you. I’m only offering you a hand to help you to this side. Like Trump said to Rogan, I’ll say it to you. “You’re not a Kamala guy.” Open your mind and it’ll help open your eyes.

God dammit. I'm actually pissed, and not just in the message board way.
I put effort into a thoughtful response, and it's just disrespect again.
It's fucking infuriating it can't be "we see different." It has to turn into conversion therapy.

I’m not dense. You’re stubborn. Stubborn enough to vote for Kamala this year even though they forewent democracy to slip her in. Stubborn enough to vote for Kamala who was letting men in women sports. Stubborn enough to vote for Kamala even though she was not for people like you or your values.
Thank God the majority of Americans (POPULAR VOTE MUDAFUCKAS!) woke up and left the left.

holy shit the things i miss in a day Whether you think Musk is right or not is almost immaterial; Elon said he provided the access for defense and not for offensive strikes which is a laudable and understandable goal. But from the government's perspective how can they not at least consider bringing the satellites in-house after that? Third-party dude disapproves of your actions and cuts the power?
also I watched that Maddow clip and she never says what Winters tells us she says.
If he did allow his network to be used for a drone strike on Russia, that would tie the USA to hostile actions against Russia. This was a smart call. It is also clear that if the USA provided the means for Ukraine to launch an offensive act, it would be interpreted as an act of war. It's also pretty clear that Starlink has allowed the Ukranian military to stay connected and unaffected despite Russia wiping out all their communications infrastructure. This response is different from the point I made, which is that Musk demonstrated he can cut the power whenever his satellites are being used in a way he doesn't want them to. It should come as no surprise the government would stop and think, 'maybe we don't want to depend on an outside party for parts of our infrastructure' as a result. Harris not addressing the crowd tonight was a shit move. I really tried to be positive about her, but what a terrible fucking candidate. Hey KING KID - I’ll eat shit. She fucking was awful, and I’m glad her political career is dead. The Dems did this to themselves. Point blank. BINGO! The Dems are so busy trying to game the system. They saw Biden in a terminal slide and thought that replacing him would stop a wipe out down the ticket (which it probably has) None of the Dems had the balls to stand up and go for the nomination, they were scared of how far back Biden was. Then when they saw the bump Harris got they must have shit themselves as they realised the public was ready for any viable candidate that wasn't Trump or Biden. Then every SINGLE thing Kamala has done since then has eroded and blown up that good will. If Shapiro or Newsome had have stood up... I think we might be having a different discussion. Also, the Dems seem afraid to run a white men, do they think the woke class is going to vote republican?Where this all went off the rails was the Dems LYING to America about Joe Boden's mental decline, he should have resigned and let the primaries be open. Fitting this is on a WWE forum, it is like when Vince did a no-sell on Bryant and the people rioted. The last white man the Dems ran is sitting in the Oval Office right now. And back up a year ago and he'd be the white man penned in as the Dem nominee again.
If the way things went down is pretty true (Biden was planning on running again, had to be talked down after a terrible debate performance) then it pretty much had to go this way, with his VP taking his reelection slot. A party cannot start a brand new primary, have all the fights and mudslinging and wheeling and dealing and come out with a new candidate four months before the election. Whoever comes out of that short campaign, with depleted coffers and having had their own party take shots at them (as is the case in a usual primary) wouldn't stand a chance. Think Kamala looked weak? Imagine <whichever Dem> with the "even their own party didn't even really want them" tag with five-way potshots still fresh in everyone's mind. Biden's VP taking over was the least worst option, which is a wholly different thing than being a good one.

Maybe they shouldn’t have lied to the American people and kept Biden’s mental decline hidden from the country. Maybe then the country would trust them more and would have voted for them. Maybe then they’d have had more time to find a better candidate. No, instead they lied to the American people and got caught.
Thanks to Elon Musk, Donald Trump and JD Vance.

I lean left because it's not so much about being 'woke' than it is caring about your neighbors/society as a whole which I thought was a very Christian concept, yet you and other Christians speak about individualism over collectivism and back a man who stands for the same. It's baffling to me. That's rubbish. The American People stomped a mudhole in Left Wing politics and walked it dry because it's been very evident over the last 15 years, The Left Wing could care less about the greater good. It's why The American people voted the way it did, it's why Australians voted the way they did in September of last year, and why we will vote that way next year. Tell us why, Conservatives talk about moving forward as one, yet The Left talks continually about what divides us - projecting oppression and blame and victimhood? Tell us why, The Left continues to actively attempt to tear down the very foundations and traditions that makes countries like The United States and Australia so great? Tell us why, The Left tears down industry and enterprise? While Conservatives talk about creating industry and jobs? Tell us why, The Left's economic plan is little more than tax us all into a further cost of living crisis? Tell us why, The Left has enabled a mental health crisis that has resulted in a big part of this new generation living in fantasy land? Tell us why, The United States is in such poor shape and none of you are better off despite the fact outside of 4 years, The Left has been in power since 2008? Tell us why, Left Wing Politics continues to push agendas like misinformation bills and censorship of contrasting or opposing viewpoints? It's difficult to argue The Left care about society when they're doing everything to hurt it. If you think that's all hyperbole and bullshit, the evidence was in yesterday's result. First of all, I'm in Canada, and your hyperbole is also a generalization because both sides divide and spread misinformation. Also, apparently you missed the part where I said the Democrats (and our NDP here) both need to regroup and find out why they are failing. I can tell you why they are here and it comes down to terrible plans of action to NO plans of action. I probably know better than you all what it's like to live somewhere in which we had the Extreme Right (like even normal Conservative voters don't support them) take over from the Left to overwhelming support which has decimated our Province and cities in the past 5 years. Our social programs have been cut, rights are being taken away, our education system is being decimated, Health Care system is broken and we watch as everything gets privatized and it slips further and further from our control. We are failing our most vulnerable citizens: children, youth, unhoused and seniors. Individualism is being served up over collectivism in the name of 'freedom' when most of these people have never not known freedom a day in their life. Xenophobia is pushed and rampantly taking over and it's bleeding into other parts of Canada. Basically we are becoming America. I should note that where I live the Right has been in charge for the past 40-50 years except for 4 years about 5 years ago that they are still blaming all their issues on and we are in worse shape than we've ever been, unless you are a big business or upper class. So tell me O Wise One how is wanting better for myself, my family and our society 'rubbish'? RT has lived all over Canada so he can probably provide a more holistic view on this. I also said my ideologies tend to lean left, but I'm probably more of a centrist though still considered a Commie by American standards.

I just thought I'd pop back in to say. The "Hitler" playbook didn't work. The "convicted felon" playbook didn't work. The "January 6th" playbook didn't work. The "rapist" playbook didn't work. Calling us garbage didn't work. And trying to kill him didn't work. We ARE going back.
Back to a secure border, affordable groceries, <$2/gallon gas, and peace in the Middle East and across the globe. I cannot wait until Kamala Harris has to certify Trump's victory on JANUARY 6, 2025. Remember, Democrats are the ones who made it mandatory for the VP to certify the winner of the electoral college after the 2020 election. Congratulations, President Trump, on becoming the first person in history to win the presidency 3 times. Time to get this country back on track. And time to hold those who rigged the 2020 election, framed you for being a Russian asset, used law-fare against you as a political tactic, and violated the first amendment rights of millions of Americans to be held accountable. Hey, Ant is back! What happened to your old account? Legit curious, don't remember anything happening
This (and most Project Veritas things) are what truly bother me. Free speech has power, and as a wise man once said with great power comes great responsibility. It is these outlets' responsibility to at least attempt to verify that what they're saying or implying about people is true, but they just don't care.
Again, their statement? “It was never our intent that the publication of the ‘2000 Mules’ film and book would harm Mr. Andrews." TF did they think would happen? Is it okay if they just didn't meeeeeaaaaaan to? Anything that might have happened to Mark as a result of being accused of a federal crime and subverting our democracy is a ha ha whoopsie our bad?
And despite the fact it had been discredited, and even its own conservative distributors pulled it months ago for inaccuracy and legal liability, here's Dinesh going 'here everyone should watch this'

I remember him doing okay before, and after that night. Not super great since Biden has never been super great but that's how it goes sometimes.
