The Olympics aren’t remotely on the same level of an NBA Finals in terms of competition. This is a good moment in an amazing career, but few will remember it a month from now because nobody cares that the US beat Serbia. We only try to win the gold because of how embarrassing it has been when we don’t.

Great moment for Steph, but the NBA Finals is a different level of competition. The NBA Finals is considered the highest level of competitive basketball.

Appreciate your general point here but the comparison isn't really accurate, particularly with men's soccer which no one cares about because it is a youth tournament. At least all the big NBA names go to the Olympics. 

I would probably say today's performance might surpass his NCAA tourney cinderella run with the underdog Davidson Wildcats(Which people sleep on, it was insane how a mid major player like him took over that tourney) but it still pales in comparison to that 1st NBA title win of the Warriors. Especially given minus one year(The Baron Davis/Nelson year), the GS Warriors were punching bags to the Lakers/Suns/Kings in the 00's where they finally got out of the shadows and became feared again.

Big time performance for someone who for the past 2 years, people thought "Step Curry isn't in his prime/isn't what he used to be". Think he put people back on notice that especially in a European game where the 3 ball is simply deadly, that he's pretty good.

That and he saved his head coach Steve Kerr's ass mightily from a soon to be disaster waiting here if they didn't comeback. I would let Curry take the entire preseason off as a thank you if I am Kerr.

USA vs AUS has been insane in the women's sport @admin . Basketball US has a big lead but this freestyle is insane. Ya girl Raygun got served by Logistix. Saw someone say that the breakdance that Raygun did was the same as this and I busted out laughing.


Probably goes back to my point of this being the same gold medal count as a bigger sport but these dudes and gals are having fun.

Going from watching Ian Eagle call the Commanders/Jets game and in the span of 30 minutes listening to his son Noah Eagle call this USA/France gold medal final, it's so eerily similar how much they sound the same.
