Thought I was done with this thread. Turns out I have one last tangibly related rant to get off my chest. Then hopefully I'll go another 6 years before discussing politics on PW again. Not a single person changed their avatar to the smug hat kid. Very disappointed. A missed opportunity for sure. I did consider it. Decided it was too on the nose. Can I at least get partial credit for changing my avatar to the Covington Catholic school logo for a few days? On that somewhat related note.... As I'm sure most of you know, a bunch of shitty people working for shitty journamalism outfits BuzzFeed and the Huffington Post got laid off this week and now they're busy being Mad Online. Turns out our self-appointed thought leaders really do not like receiving unsolicited advice from well-meaning concerned citizens. Womp womp. It's the Week of the Pink Slip and I feel fine. Those jobs are going boys and they ain't coming back. The schadenfreude is real. Learn to code. And God Bless America.

My theory is these mass layoffs will only accelerate the process in which the journamalist achieves its inevitable Final Form- Paid Hall Monitor for Woke Daddy Jack and others of that ilk. Face it. The Establishment always sticks together, particularly in times of crisis, and they honestly almost always win. That's why we dissident proles must celebrate these fleeting victories on the rare occasions they occur.
