I'd love to see a Boston/San Jose final. I'm enjoying the west series far more than the east. At least Carolina shut Don Cherry up. What a bunch of jerks!

I guess Boston/SJ would be interesting due to Thornton's ties with Boston. My last remaining thread of interest in this playoffs is Joe finally getting a cup. Don Cherry likes they are making coin of his phrase for the record. Bishop is pulling off a miracle here in game 7. I would hate to be St.Louis if they lost this game.

I'm hyped to watch the west final. Funny how things work. The Blues looked done and headed for a rebuild given how this core had been kinda disappointing during certain parts of this run. Coming into the season I kept my expectations really low for the Sharks. I thought they hit their ceiling. I just thought San Jose would be in the middle pack fighting for a wildcard spot with Debor getting fired for sure. I'm glad I was wrong.

I’m literally at “anyone but Boston” mode right now and it isn’t even because they beat the Leafs. I’m over it.
Carolina wins, Justin Williams goes down as one of the greatest playoff hockey players of our generation and Curtis McElhinney gets a ring.
St Louis wins, Steen, Bozak and Gunnarsson all get rings.
San Jose wins, Thornton, Burns, Couture & Pavelski get well-deserved rings. Honestly a shame that Marleau isn’t still there, and not just because he slowed the Leafs down this year. He deserves one so much. I hope they get him one next year before they dump him.
Boston is the only boring story left. They’ve won it recently enough, they’re assholes, and Boston isn’t exactly starving for championships.

Hurts even more now that the Leafs lost in the first round because Boston has just been cruising ever since and their toughest competition in the east got completely wiped out in the first round. Although Gardiner and Hyman were both very hurt and wouldn't be playing right now. Also Dermott might be out depending if they could postpone his surgery any long. That's a big loss to take and they'd be struggling no matter who they faced. Ah maybe they wouldn't have gone all the way, who knows.
