I really feel for the UDFAs who have had to make the very tough decision to opt out of playing, they're basically retiring before they've even had a chance to start their pro careers, and additionally don't have the luxury of the 150k salary that the established players receive.

This season (and probably the next one or two afterwards) are going to be shambolic at best.

Yeah my lone fear of the 2021 draft picks the Jets got is how do you judge what to draft? Combine and pro days are surely ready but you'd be going off of tape for 2(For juniors)-3(for seniors) years. I mean Trevor Lawrence can kick back and do bible study 5x a week and know he's good with his resume but for so many other guys, it gets really difficult. The choice that Clemson RB made to return is devastating, what a bad choice. Could have gotten his money now, maybe it's less mileage but he becomes 1 year older. Should have struck while the iron was hot!

Especially with no other league, it is really, really tough for non special teams players. Ultimately, talent prevails but to get that crack is so tough. Really feel for the 2020 UDFA class, hope to see a bunch of success stories. Maybe with guys opting out, it gives these kids a chance. No preseason for them absolutely stinks.

2020 MLB Draft was brutal in that it had I believe only 5 rounds as opposed to the general 30 rounds. NBA Draft is going to be bonkers too with no pre-team workouts.

Yeah buddy , plus the chip on his shoulder from the Love draft pick. Rodgers gonna go crazy this year. I'm partially convinced that was some of the reasoning behind the pick because of the complacent talk surrounding Rodgers the past few years.

And he broke up with Danica , and we all know that quarterbacks sink or swim depending on their dating life.


I still haven't really thought about this season. I want to get hyped but with everything going on in the world and the Rona running wild and guys *rightfully* opting out ... I have no idea what to expect. Sucks too because the Packers were 100% winning the Super Bowl.

My personal reaction was to pack a huge bowl after trying to force my shocked mouth back shut, following some heavy in-between of "I'm laughing because otherwise I think I may just cry" and "WTF!?!?"

Finally give A-A-Ron some weapons/help on defense and probably the best team they've had since 2010 and then they pull that shit... Not only picking him in the 1st, but traded up to do so in probably the deepest WR draft class EVER.

I don't think this means he's done at all. He'll definitely be signed by a team at some stage this season.

So unplayable as a pass protecting guard, god bless the poor team that signs him.
